Deck Challange: Create an Intro Pack

I came up with this idea when I was teaching someone how to play magic.
Design a deck that:
:manag:Contains only 2 rares.
:manab:Someone who has no experience can just pick up and use.
:manau:Keep the deck simple, but still competitive. A beginner might have a harder time playing if their cards have complex abilities.
:manaw:You can use any cards from any set, but maybe use some classic beginner cards like Grizzly Bears, Giant Growth etc.
:manar: Give the Deck a Cool Name:D

My entry is a mono-black deck that plays aggressively and doesn't care about losing creatures because of gravediggers and the like. It uses a nice amount of M11/M10/10th edition cards so that the reminder texts are still there.

ok so before you check my list, check out my reasoning for the deck i've made up.

i set some ground rules and i'll explain why, as i go through them:

1) each card must be easy to understand and not have any complex abilities. (i made a rule that Trample was the limit as far as complexity goes).

2) the deck must be consistent (i.e. mostly 4x), but also have a small number of "bomb" type cards which are exciting for the new player and keep the game lively and interesting.

3) most beginners get overwhelmed by the number of different effects happening in a deck and it can be difficult to identify what an individual card's ROLE is, within a deck.... so with this in mind i decided to theme the deck so that the roles of each card were much more obvious and the new player would understand how to play the spells to best effect.

4) i also wanted the deck to be more than "just a creature deck"... it needed something unusual and interesting, which would introduce the new players to concepts such as cards with drawbacks, board advantage, and how to exploit certain spells in the game to your advantage using certain combinations of cards.... but it still had to be simple!

so i came up with a simplified "elfageddon" deck..... you play lots of mana-generating elves and then stick down an armageddon. this gives you board advantage and it's a simple but effective introduction into such effects in the game.

armageddon itself is very simple. something which i felt was very important. but learning to use it most effectively can be skill-testing, so it's a great place to start learning about card interaction.

here's the decklist. there are 2 rares and one mythic rare.
