MTG Vault Deck Challenges
5-color Spawn.
Alright this may seem like a very easy challenge, but it's one I'd like to see met.
I've seen multiple examples of this kind of deck, but there Eldrazi. I'm sorry if I upset anyone, but the Eldrazi series is one of the worst series I've seen MTG produce.
Now that I got that off my chest. I want to see if you can make a 5-color deck based around spawning multiple creatures. If you have no idea what I'm talking about (which you should). ex: Thallid's are perfect examples but there mostly green and black so, and I want something with all 5 colors (:manaw::manau::manab::manag::manar:). And there are three conditions for this deck, 1st No Eldrazi series cards allowed in this deck, 2nd all five colors must be present (doesn't matter if there is a dominant color just have all five), and 3rd I would like it kept smaller than 80 cards.

this is probably i little rough, but i tried avoiding cards like conqueror's pledge and other spells that just put tokens into play when they resolve because thats not true spawning. spawning to me is when a creature produces another. so here's my entry, but like i said its rough and probably need work so any suggestions are much appreciated.

No it's just I've seen the cards, and have personally gone out of my way not to get a single one but I don't hate play people that use the Eldrazi only people that use the Eldrazi race cards.

I like the card setup you've got there. Also I agree with all the cards in the deck except the "Homarid Spawning Bed" since there's only 2 blue card in the deck that has a casting cost. Although if you have an idea going on there with it awesome. I didn't notice it, but you thought of it.
Thanks.

Woah don't hate the eldrazi's. there slow but powerful. But the spawn stuff is actually kind of fast. Spawning Breath, Brood Birthing, Broodwarden, Rapacious One, Emrakul's Hatcher, Awakening Zone , Pawn of Ulamog, Dread Drone, and Corpsehatch are all great spawn cards. There are plenty more too.
Also, sorry to rain on the parade. But it's impossible to have a true all colored spawn deck. All the spawn cards are either :manag:,:manab:, or:manar:

This is suppose to be a challenge, correct? If it were an easy one the I wouldn't have bothered to list it. And honestly I don't care if it's "True Spawn" I just want spawning to be the basis or backbone of the deck.

Looks like these people are really giving you the Wag of the Finger with this whole Eldrazi situation. This is a challenge guys, focus on that, not his preference of sets. Everyone has a preference and you shouldn't get all uppity because he doesn't like one you guys do :P
Also, I will look into that 5 color spawn, but I dislike 5-color decks somewhat so no promises :D

Here's my version of 5 color Spawn. Using Thallids to produce some saprolings, and doubling seasons to help of course. Once you have some tokens out summon a Thunder-Thrash Elder and buff him up by eating those tokens, then use fling for direct damage.I have added Rite of Replication (the only blue card so far) to help in numerous situations. Celestial Dawn and Honor of the Pure will buff your creatures even further so you don't have to rely on Flinging your creatures at the opponent. More cards may be added later but this is my rough draft of it:

I guess you haven't run into a turn 1 Emrakul yet. It would change your mind about them being slow (and fun for that matter).

hum, having looked at the other decks entered I now realize this had nothing to do with Eldrazi Spawns but rather just the same generic token factories we've been dealing with for the last 15 years.
Spawn is an actual creature type, might want to re-title this challenge to reflect that you actually meant TOKENS in general.

I sure I wouldn't need to rename this challenge for the simple fact that people do understand what I meant by the title's name, but I do see your point it's just that I forget that sometimes I'm not the only nerd that has been into this game since I was little.
