Deck Challenge: Red/Green Budget Beatdown

Doing this for a friend whom I've recently gotten addicted to MTG.

The goal here is to create an easy to play deck with some big creatures. The cost of the cards shouldn't hurt the wallet (Shoot for < $20.)

Going to give him a few of the cards I'm not using, so if you incorporate the ones below they don't count towards the deck cost.

1x Deus of Calamity
1x Runes of the Deus
2x Morselhoarder
1x Manamorphose
1x Rage Reflection
1x Mossbridge Troll
2x Giantbaiting
-A few other commons and uncommons that have a cost of about $0.02 each. I'll let you know if I have any of the cards by commenting on each submission, as I always do.

Basic Lands will also be provided.

Sites I get cards from: blackborder.com and channelfireball.com. I'd suggest using them when pricing.

As a bonus (and to attempt to promote interactivity within the site), I will give a very in-depth deck critique to the winner of this deck challenge (one deck of the winner's choice.) That will consist of me creating a proxy deck, sending it through a gauntlet of test plays, and reporting the pro's, con's, and other card suggestions (as well as card cost) to help better that deck's synergies.

Most effective deck:cost ratio wins!

Can I quickly recommend a borbygmos as the leader of the deck. Very powerful and fits the theme. Look into gruul cards.

I made this one a while back and not sure if it's budget, but I've had alot of fun with it:

Just worked out an average price for this deck and DAM, I didn't realise how much Fire-Lit Thicket goes for o.O

The price I got for the Main Deck = $55.12 (I didn't bother adding basic land prices) and the Side Deck = $7.26.

The Titans and BoPs alone put the cost of this deck upwards of $100. :P I think you need to reread the challenge.

Given that I've commented, I SHOULD post a deck. However, it usually takes me a day to get them together, so I'll come back later. ^.^

I didn't post my deck for winning this callenge i posted it to give them an idea of a red/green beatdown deck i really don't care about winning... i just want to help give people more ideas if my deck falls in the category
