The Amazing Power of Life Points (Deck Challenge)

Hi everyone!
The challenge is to make a mono white :manaw: standard deck that gain a lot of life (replacing the damage you get all the match) and in same time smashing the opponent like the ''combo'' of Ajani's Pridemate+Ajani's Mantra.

Good lucky :D

Note: Don't make a deck that uses Felidar Sovereign it's ONLY win condition.

This is my deck. It doesn't rely on Felidar but i does have 2 of them.
This deck took a hit from a 30/30 double strike annihilator 4 baneslayer angel and lived until next turn... So it definately can take a hit. Sigil of the empty throne has also won me quite a few duels.

But lifegain sucks as a mechanic... The only redeeming quality about lifegain is that Felidar Sovereign gives it a win condition, and you tell us that that's the only card we CAN'T use? This challenge kind of sucks.

What i got was "Note: Don't make a deck that uses felidar sovereign it's ONLY win condition."
therefore you can have it. just not as the only way to win.

As drakedew said i want decks that can win using another strategy than Felidar

For example i tested the gocubsgo's deck online and its very efficient (without felidar) because i putted the Serra Ascendant with Luminous Wake and it was fantastic i gained 10 life and dealt 6 damage every turn

personally, I don't know what Moeba is referring too. Lifegain as a mechanic can lead to some interesting decks and can relaly make your opponent think about what they are doing. Anyone who has been faced down with a Serra Avatar with a Loxodon warhammer equipped will tell you in that situation it brings on a sense of urgency.

I like the challenge. I personally run a black/white casual play deck that uses lifegain as it's major mechanic, and it is seriously fun to play and kind of just manages itself.

If you're doubting it Moeba, check out http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=72512 .

Once you have a Serra Avatar and Wall of Reverence on the table the life gain is exponential. After this you just need to sit and wait for a Sanguine Bond or a Loxodon Warhammer to bring the win home!

Hey
Here is my possible future one
We ended on this on some other forum
3 possibility, Felidar, Ajani's Avatar, or Serra (even if it's not a huge creature, still helps alot)
Ajani's Pridemate is another option, but not in deck atm, didn't test anything yet

So see yourself

Hope I'm not too late either.

This is my relatively cheap life gain deck. The main source being here the ajani pridemate who by turn 5-6 can be anywhere from a 5/5 to 20/20 unblockable. I've played with it several times in casual play against people who typically crush me with their decks and I easily beat them with this deck.
