Make An Insect Deck
I want to make an insect deck have it be black and green. Some good ones that i have seen are, Swamp Mosquito, Nantucko Shade, Unyaro Bees, The best one Gleancrawler, Vulturous Zombie looks fun,Grave-Shell scarab, Shambling shell, Woodwraith Strangler And also the m11 card Hornets Sting. Or could go the token way with like symbiotic beast, Symbiotic elf, Living Hive, One Dozen Eyes, To feed to the mortician beetle then bring the sacked creatures back with the gleancrawler,Xanted swarm looks descent, Theres alot of ideas good luck people! Thanks in advance. :manag: :manab:
Also SWARMYARD Looks sweet for this deck

I'd go with the tokens. If you can buff you mortician beetles up that's great, but the biggest thing with making a token insect deck is that it makes for a more versitial deck. You can chump block with tokens that you don't care about rather than trying to predict which of the creatures you have on the field are the least useful. Also, if you don't happen to draw a Mortician Beetle, you can always just go ahead and charge your opponent with a couplle dozen ants and take the game.
If you do end up going down the sacrificial token path, think about using Spawning pits. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a 2 mana artifact that let's you sack a creature without having to pay mana. I use a playset in my Grave Pact deck and it works wonders. Using a couple of them would allow you to kill your creatures however and whenever you want.
I recently finished touching up a pure green insect deck that also uses tokens. A couple of creatures that could help you out in pumping out tokens are Ant Queen and Broodhatch Nantako. Also, take a look at Coat of Arms. It's a bit expensive, but it could be a help to your bugs if you're planning on going completely insect.
Good luck, and have fun.

I agree with linly86 on chump blocking with tokens but make sure to throw in some insects that infect or death touch for a faster win (ex: Mortipede, or venomous dragonfly) now unfortunately I gave mine to a friend as a gift before i joined this site and he moved :( so i cant post it. However combining insects with infect, death touch, or just token creation to swarm with gives you options and a faster win (ex:death touch insect + lure = them open to get hit with a lot of poison counters) just some food for thought. another option add :manaw: to the roster for buffs but adding Hour of Reckoning (Destroy all non token creatures) and Mark of the Asylum (creatures you control ant be the target of spells or abilities) would make swarm deck pretty hard to take down.
