fairly complicated question

so i have a curse of wizardry out for blue spells, then someone casts a blue spell but the color of that spell is changed to colorless with an interrupt, do they still lose the life?

The loss of life is triggered by casting a spell, so unless something like Myconsyth Lattice has made the spell colorless BEFORE it is cast that player still loses life when they cast the spell.

Also relevant: This is Loss of Life, it's not the same as Damage.
