Deck Challenge: Pestilence

I've already created my best shot at a winning Pestilence deck here:

But I wanted to see what other people's best versions would be so I could get some more ideas.

Instead of consume spirit, try running Suffer the Past.

B & X

Remove TARGET X cards from target player's graveyard. For each card removed this way deal X damage to target player and gain X life.

It is a great car, is a bit cheaper than Consume spirit, and can do a little more(graveyard clearing). The only flaw is it can only target a player. With pestillence going, I don't see that being a big deal =P

I went a different direction

The biggest issue with the deck I made is getting the lands for it.
I wouldnt not work well with basic land only.
Could sub in some uncommon 'come into play tapped lands', slows it down a little tho

I prefer 40-card decks when I really need to get certain cards (ie Pestilence). Protecting against Mill needs help though.

40 Card Decks are not legal exept in limited
