Single mana cost decks for Standard?

Build a Standard Deck where all spells cost only one mana or less to cast.

Decks can be mono or multi colored. Good luck on designing the best single mana cost deck in the current Standard format.

Check this one out for starters - inspiration.

Wow!
I played my white one mana deck against a very powerful Legacy Re-animator deck, entomb, etc. following a Friday night Draft.

I got my Kor Duelist in play first turn. 2nd turn I equipped with Adventuring Gear. I smacked for 2 points of damage. My opponent reanimated an 8/8 or 7/7 nasty creature. I dropped an Evolving Wilds and fetched a Plains - triggering Adventuring gear twice. I cast & equipped with another Adventuring Gear. My Kor Duelist attacked to deal 18 points of combat damage and finish the game! He blocked with his nasty creature to avoid a third turn loss. On his turn he re-animated his nasty creature with 3 friends a +3/+3 each! I put his +8/+8 nasty creature under "Guard Duty" I played a Kitesail Apprentice and Caravan Escort. I used my remaining mana to attach one Gear to Apprentice. I let one of his +3/+3 demons damage me on his turn. Next turn I equipped Kite Sail with the second Gear. Dropped a Terramorphic Expanse and fetched. I also cast a Trusty Machete. I cast Emerge Unscathed (protecting Kitesail from black!)- which has Rebound! I attacked for 10 points of damage. My opponent looked at my Unscathed - had no answer - and resigned.

So that was certainly exciting - Guard Duty & Emerge Unscathed are very good Draft format cards also.
Now I have to build the mono-red GOBs deck, the Tri-color mono deck, and play test them to determine which emerges the victor.

One of the interesting facets of a single mana casting cost deck is that less mana sources/cards are required which means you have more spells in your deck and generally, also in your starting hand - 2 lands to 5 spells (2:5).
Multiply 2:5 by 8 = 16 + 40 = 56. So that leaves 4 slots to mull stategy over. By comparison a 3:4 ratio deck x 8 = 56 also. It has 4 slots to mull over also, but the big difference is the number of spells - 40 versus 32!
