GW Deck... T1 Steppe Lynx. T2 something like Misty Rainforest for a Forest and play Explore, doing the same thing again. Using the 2nd forest, Groundswell. +12/+12 and attack.

Might not be the most original or particularly useful by itself, but it's definitely my favorite game opener :)

Turn 1: Play a forest. Play a Joraga Treespeaker
Turn 2: Play a forest. Level up Joraga Treespeaker. Tap him for mana and play 2 Llanowar Elves/Arbor Elves.

And then you play whatever you want next turn with your 7 mana. :)

(P.S. My fave part about this deck is that you can hard-cast Emrakul on turn 4 if you get the perfect draw :D)

Definately awesome! 12 points turn 2 hard to beat that!
Damage is cool, but if there are other neat tricks for turn 2 post them also - like hand destruction or some other effect.

And really, that's only in Standard. If you want a Turn 2 win...

Turn 1: Plains, Steppe Lynx
Turn 2: Forest, Fastbond, 3 Fetchlands, 2 of them for Forests, Groundswell x2. You take 3 damage, your opponent takes 20.

fastbond, hexmage and dark depths would just about be the best turn two drop ever.

follow that by a crucible of worlds and a strip mine and it's a winner.

All the combos I know for standard are turn 3 :(. If you go beyond standard... my favorite turn two win is this:

Turn 1: Steam Vents / Island
Turn 2: Mountain, tap -> exile 2 Simian Spirit Guides from hand -> Seething Song -> tap Vents / Island for blue -> Hive Mind -> Pact of the Titans

Fastbond is banned even in the most casual tourny's such as FNM. it's just broken and ruins the game imo.

however, turn one plains; tireless tribe. turn two island or mountain, discard all but one and play Inside Out and swing for a 21/1 on turn 2 is always another fun one.:p

Standard sets:M10, Shards of Alara, Conflux, Alara Reborn, Zendikar, Worldwake, Rise of the Eldrazi.

ANGRY RATS OF DOOM?
Take note that this deck can consist of any amount of relentless rats. Mine consists of 20.

Type 2 Black/Red Win Deck

During your oppenents turn if you're not playing first, play Gemstone Caverns and discard a card (Discard Anger)

T1-Draw a card for turn. Play a mountain and Lotus Petal. Sack lotus petal for 1 black mana, play Dark Ritual, tap gemstone caverns and mountain to put in Thrumming Stone.

T2- Play land for turn (swamp), tap gemstone caverns for 1 black mana, 1 swamp and a mountain, and play relentless rats.

Your relentless rats have ripple for 4 from thrumming stone... so you draw four cards until you reveal another relentless rats and put it into play untapped without paying its mana cost (1/3 of your deck is relentless rats, and I've only missed a rat once from rippling this effect out of like 100+ games). The best thing about this is EACH rat that comes into play from the ripple effect of Thrumming Stone also ripples itself, allowing you to basically draw 20 rats second turn. The ripples also stack each other, meaning if you were to ripple 2 more rats, you can now ripple for 8, but only four cards from your library can be revealed at one time. Each Relentless Rats is 2/2.... and it's effects are [Relentless Rats gets +1/+1 for each other creature on the battlefield named Relentless Rats.] So all of your rats get +19/+19 in addition to the fact that they are all 2/2's. So each rat swings for 21/21. Since anger is in your graveyard, all creatures you control have haste. This is when you swing 20 rats for a whopping 420 damage. Great for 4+ people as well.

Hate to tell you, but Gemstone Caverns doesn't make you discard; it causes you to remove the chosen card from the game. Your combo still works, but it isn't turn two. It's turn three.

so this isn't standard, but this contest is old and probably no one will read this anyway...based on a deck i own...

turn one: forest, lanowar elves

turn two: tap forest and elves, cast two more lannowar elves. (total three elves, no mana in pool)
Play and tap geia's Cradle for 3 G mana, play priest's of Titania, play instill energy on the priests.
They now tap twice per turn, for (currently) four mana per turn. You also have one card left in hand (two if on the draw). I suggest biorythm to kill any opponent who has not played a creature yet. Otherwise, 8/8 trample, 9/5 trample, eldrazi conscription, etc. and next turn the EAONS TORN will be playable!
