MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Deck Challenge: Maximum potential swing by turn 6
Ok, so we all know that the perfect draw hardly ever occurs, but if it DID, build a deck to see for how many points you can swing for by turn six.
No infinite loops allowed. Use any color or combination of colors. Use creatures or other spells to achieve this goal.
One more thing, The challenge is to see how much damage you can inflict ON turn six, not BY turn six, meaning, any damage potentially dealt on turns one-five dont count.
Have fun guys!

There is no way this would work out, but you said perfect draw so here it is.
Turn six swing for a total of 82 damage.

ON turn 6 i can deal either 20 flying damage, 141 (+ 240 from coat of arms, total of 381) damage with annihilator 39, or Infinite wolf attack...... My favortie number to stop the wolves is 3 trillion, so that would be 6 trillion damage from the wloves + 3 trillion from turntimber ranger (oh, crap...... add in the coat of arms :confused::confused: can't think!!!!).
BTW this is only calculating the damage from whats in my hand, as if i didn't draw at all......... think of the possibilities!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Think i have 3 winning combos for complete victory!
here is the deck that does all three!

:manab::manag:
Perfect hands: (2) Vampire Hexmage, Dark Depths, Rupture Spire, Shimmering Grotto, Golgari Signet............ hand 2: Urza's Power Plant, Urza's Mine, Urza's Tower, Turntimber Ranger, Conspiracy, Coat of Arms Mycosynth Lattice.......... hand 3: (4) Cloudpost, Spawnsire of Ulamog, Golgari Signet, Coat of Arms

Here is this. I have no idea how much it hits for. I know it isn't infinite, but it's probably greater than the upper thousands. You'll see.

Perfect Hand:
1. Preeminent Captain X3
2. Captain of the Watch X3
3. Coat of arms X1
Turn one, draw plains
Turn two, draw plains
Turn three, draw plains, play preeminent captain
Turn four, draw plains play preeminent captain Attack and bring in capt. of W.
Turn five, draw plains Play preeminent captain Attack bring in Capt. of W. 2&3
Turn six, draw plains, play coat of arms, Attack with three preeminent captains along with three captain of the watches, and their nine goons (all of which are now pumped to 4/4 and 5/5). A total of 15 power is added to each through coat of arms. Total: 191 damage.
With a deck loaded with similar pumping cards, it doesnt require too much luck to pull off 50+ damage by the sixth turn.

Rather than banefire, it might be nice to throw in a snake basket (another artifact) and an thorn thrash elder and a mage slayer (another artifact), devour all the snakes, equip with mage slayer and ultimately multiply the insane amount of mana by six. Someone has to calculate this out.

Standard combo deck, infinate damage turn 6, enjoy!
Pretend the sideboard is in mainboard.
http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=66177
Perfect hand:Island, Island, Mountain, Reality spasm, Echo Mage, Fireball, Mind Spring.
Turn 1:Island
Turn 2:Island
Turn 3:Mountain, Echo Mage
Turn 4:Island, lvl mage up to 2
Turn 5:Island, lvl mage up to 4
Turn 6: play reality spasm for 2,
copy twice with echo mage,
untap 3 land and echo mage,
copy reality spasm twice again,
repeat until your opponent understands you have infinate mana,
play mindspring to draw as many cards as you want till you get your fireball or archive trap or anything really,
make infinate copies of whatever you want,
play fireball for infinity,
play mindspring on your opponent for 1000 and they lose instantly.
But since this is about damage, fireball for idk agoogleplex or some crap like that.
:D:);):):D
keep in mind, this deck is completely standard, you could play it at fnm like me, haha

Unless you make Doubling season a creature, followed footsteps can't target it.
Edit: sorry, i just say opalessence. i thought it did somthing else, not make the enchantment a creature.

This one is a theory I came up with or a perfect hand scenario, but I actualy cast Emrakul on turn 5 and attacked for 30 with deathouch, lifelink, and flying on turn 6. Ended the game =P
Elvish Piper, basilisk collar, Emrakul, 6 forests
in the first few turns, you can run a Joraga treespeaker to cut down on time.
