MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Deck Challenge: Type 2 Colorless
Build an entirely colorless deck in Type 2. I know that with the new eldrazi this seems easy, but its not; all the colorless eldrazi are upwards of 8 mana, which is hard to get to without your precious colored eldrazi spells that give you eldrazi spawn. So, you have to make a workable type 2 colorless deck. I will judge the winner.
Good luck.

Here's my submission. It could probably be worked up quite a bit, but I'm hung over and don't feel like reading too much atm :p

It's pretty much Eldrazi + Colorless mana ramp. Win condition is Spawnsire and dropping down the entire sideboard, including All Is Dust. Otherwise, IMO, this deck isn't that good. Maybe I'll work on it and resubmit when I'm feeling a bit better.

Here is my entry to the competition:

Knowing that most people would focus on Eldrazi I opted to focus on a landfall setup which leads to Eldrazi coming out later in the game.
Though I have coloured spells in the deck I hope it is up to standards with the competition's rules.

You said you'd be posting the results tonight.. hopefully I still have enough time. Been really busy around the farm and haven't had much time to actually think about a deck. Well, here goes, going to work on it now ^_^
---
Alright. Here it is. Please discard my previous submission, I'm not familiar with T2 anymore so I went with the only thing I really did know -- Eldrazi. This time around, after reading through just about every T2 colorless spell and land, I went for mana ramp, landfall, and a bit of search utility. Instead of filling up with Eldrazi, I went with 3x Minion Reflector, 2x Spawnsire of Ulamog and a loaded as the win conditions, and Emeria, the Sky Ruin to optimize use of my Minion Reflectors late game.

This deck relies on mostly commons and uncommon artifacts and colorless mana - but I added one artifact that has color in its cost since it supports the artififact theme and two black creatures to take advantage of all the basic colorless mana! Hedron Scrabbler offers an early assault - trade Jwar Isle Refuge (life gain) for a fetch land - evolving wilds (common) to pump scrabbler to 3/3 then make him 4/3 unblockable with Distortion Strike. Do it again next turn with rebound mechanic & drop another land and that is 7 points of damage! Pilgrims Eye offers air assault and defense against flyers but more importantly fetches a type of basic mana you need to pump Mana Mace for a 5/5 bonus- ouch. Fleeting distraction draws a card and can reduce damage or help a creature survive a combat. Reinforced bulwark stalls your opponents and reduces damage to you also and a well timed Warmonger's Chariot can catch a sleeping opponent. Traumatic Visions offers early land cycling and a late game counter just in case. Corpsehatch is another just in case card, but the spawn tokens late in the game may fuel your Keening Stone (Rare). But Sludge Strider may finish your opponent if he was weakened early or buy you time to use your stone with life gain. So if these threats aren't enough use all your basic land types to finish your frightened opponent with Fleshformer's ability making it a 4/4 fear creature.

First of all, let me apologize for not judging when I said I would, I've been pretty sick lately and it slipped my mind.
Second of all, Goblinguide's deck and Anon's deck are disqualified for using colored spells.
Finally, the winner: SavajCabbaj.
Because I tested the decks out, and his won the most.
Congrats, SavajCabbaj! (Note that I mean his final entry, not his first entry.)
