Ezuri is a overrun on a stick for elves and with archdruids, it can trigger more than once... he's a beast.

I thought about that, but with counterspells being heavy in this deck, they'll be lucky to attack me with a bunch of creatures.
That's what the counter spells and blockers are for.
I'll be testing it out tonight.
Wirewood Pride is like a Giant Growth on crack for elves and Elvish Promenade is a quick game changer. Ezuri is an awesome elf as well.
I'm surpised Jace didn't make it in...
dragonhighlander.net is the best source...
No Sovereigns of Lost Alara? Crazy... I would definitely run one of those bad boys. Mesa Enchantress would help with card advantage too.
Not a bad deck idea and with removal being light currenty in standard i could see you possibly pulling this off. Unfortunately a lot of people know the Myr Infinite mana combo and if they have any removal they with snuff out one of those Myr's real quick. BTW, why are you using Plains? you have no white spells in your deck. Casting any of the counters may be a pain if you're sitting on Plains. Maybe swap the Plains for Islands and the Gold Myr for Semblance Anvil? Lowering the cost of your creatures could help...
Basilisk Collar, Sword of Body and Mind, and Sword Vengeance would all make good additions to and unblockable creature, especially with double strike from Rafiq.
I'm about to have an in-house tourney on the 23rd and it's EDH format. I have a lot of vintage cards compared to everyone else, but I have been struggling to write up a competitive deck for it. I've won the last three tournaments I've thrown and this has been by far the most challenging. I started out with an EDH deck based around Azami, Lady of Scroll for card advantage. Then an U/W edh deck with Gwafa Hazid as the general to shut down their General. Now i'm leaning towards black with artifacts based around the Abyss, but i am still uncertain as to what i am running. I'm no EDH expert by any means, but yeah, keep writing them up, cause any inspiration i can get would be awesome.
Tempered Steel and Darksteel Myr?
I like'em because the get the benefit from the Tempered Steel and give me extra mana, extra mana is never a bad thing, especially when they become a large creature for two mana...
Crazy, 5 colors and no progenitus, planeswalkers or ultimatums... stilla good deck though! 8.5/10!
Lol, that was supposed to be 17 islands not the depths
Consuming Vapors and Gatekeeper of Malakir kill the Abyssal Persecuter...
I'd suggest Consuming Vapors over urge to feed. Everflowing chalic is good, but Leaden Myr is just as helpful if not more helpful. They can be chump blockers as well. With nothing in the deck utilizing X in it's cost, Everflowing Chalice falls short in my opinion. I wrote up a deck today called Black Standard. Check it out, it covers removal, a beat down creature, and discard advantage.
I agree
I donno, it's favorite combo of mine... you might get set back a turn on land, but you know what's coming for the next three draws...
Deprive and Halimar Depths are awesome together...
