Nope. I really don't like it that much.

i've been messing around with this deck still, sometimes there is a dark steel juggernaut somethimes there isn't. I am going to take it to FNM asap however and see what it can do there.

That is a very nice card but unfortunately this is standard legal so i can't use them.

If you are really looking for more creatures for your mana I would recommend Howl of the night pack. In your deck, it's pretty much pay 7 get 7 or more 2/2 wolves. Usually better than wolf briar elemental.

and to thin out the deck, i'll run into less lands later.

you could also fling the pheonix and have it return next upkeep. Or the myr for a quick 4 damage or 2 damage to a player and a creature (or another player in multiplayer). Just some ideas to consider.

I was intending to use the 0 drops for fodder on with thopter foundry since it has to be non token artifacts. it makes me get 1/1 flyers(which can also equal more quick mana if i have a grand architect out) from those cards and I can use those to buff up a creature, should I need it. But if you think I should get rid of the spidersilks I can try that.

Interesting deck here... Distortion strike would definitely be disastrous to your opponents. an unblockable kiln fiend 2 turns in a row for 1 blue mana?

Have you tried Ferrovore + Fling?

The Llanowar elves are for quick mana ramping. Thanks to them i have been able to swing for 9 infect on turn 3. And omnath can mana ramp even greater allowing me to use putrefax and multiple buff on it in one turn... however i can use grafted exoskeleton to make omnath a huge infect creature. Its more based on hitting with the small infect creature then buffing them for the win.

Wow, amazing deck. 10/10! However I think I know a card that would make this deck just devastating to your opponents. It's called beastmaster ascension and it's a really good card in aggro decks like this. Especially combined with Eldrazi Monument. Look it up and see if it you think it would fit. It would definitely send your opponents crying home.

Yea the mana curve is kind of high but thats what the gomazoa's and enchantments are there for, to slow the opponent down while I build up my defenses.

1 bolt takes card of them all however... strength of tajuru deals with that.

I unfortunately don't have much anything from alara block. I just joined magic for the first time in march and have found a love for mirrodin. I've actually tried trading for tezzerets but everyone keeps saying no cuase they think they are going to be reprinted in mirrodin besieged.
And prototype portal isn't just for mindslaver. Imagine, if you will, steel overseer, grindclock, heck even voltaic key, if you have a chalice with four charge counters just tap it pay 1 for voltaic from a portal then untap portal, create another, then untap the chalice, rinse, repeat. mixed with proliferate, you can get infinate mana flowing.
Prototype can also cause an army of memnites/ornithopters or wurmcoils.
All of these are purely seculation, however, i have pulled off the mindslaver abuse, and it was fun as heck.
