not a bad deck, not 100% consistent obviously but overall seems to fit. the royal assassin over assassinate is pretty much the best tip here indeed. mind sludge also sounds good and u could consider Nyxathid over nightmare. the only point i disagree with is the card drawing. u have some creatures and if they discard those get through, on the other hand letting them draw gives them lots of chances to draw some removal and if u dont get your megrim the deck is mor eor less doing nothing then.

very many highcosting cards but in casual games it should be really funny ;).
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=38653 might give u some ideas. it gets huge beater out in various ways ... from oracle/sphinx of jwar isle + djinn of wishes over summoning trap (cast normally with some manaramp from birds / llanowar) to just a simple elvish piper. ;)
to be honest ... looking at current standard soldiers i (and thats a personal thingy :P) would take those with highest combined power levels and keep going for that pikemaster. tested it and had a pretty hard to unmanageable time getting through that wall. when i said - some of the spells ... the coolest thing that a standard soldier deck has done to me was building just a huge bunch of 1/1 - 4/4 or so first strikers with the help of elspeth, conquerors pledge etc. while keeping my side pretty clean and then dropping coat of arms, brave the elementals (not actually needed but im sure my face was worth it) and hitting me for like infinite xD. guess its just a different take on soldiers tho and depends a lot on your local oponents .. wouldnt worry much about this build of yours .. except u might draw a lot of non-creature spells which could kill u eventually.
feast needs 2 or more vamps in play .. anyways if u dont go extended (which is for the evincar only anyways) its gr8 for standard.
ah and +1, kept failing at that sort of deck ;).

even without fetchlands .. lets say u play 5 turns and on the first turn u played your crab. that leaves you with 4 turns of landdrops x 3 cards equals another 12 free cards in your graveyard. its not that impressive maybe but its a 1drop, its a creature that can block if needed and it might get u that last extractor guy u were searching for xD. also in case the opponent survived and has a few last cards left after "extracting" u might not have the best odds and the crap can finish the rest of his library in that case. up to u tho ofc :P

lol just had the (pretty strange maybe) idea of hive mind. got lots of those but never had an actual deck that could make use of them. this one could tho if u take out sleep again. just for laughs mostly but im sure u wouldnt care if they copy your giant growths etc. as they cant do anything with them on the blocking side and whenever they try to remove something u get a free removal in return xD. most likely not whats going to happen in a slightly competitive deck but i think id play it for a few matches just for the lols ;).
also u will keep attacking obviously so something like beastmaster ascension might push your guys nicely.
what about gigantiform for more permanent beatings? :P
enlisted wurm seems too random in this deck, might replace it with something like cliffrunner behemoth if u want another big creature. additionally fill up the 60 cards deck with 2x land and maybe 3 sledges to keep the deck as close to this as possible. oh and .. 5x madblind mountain? 1. 5 is 1 too many, 2. everything else is standard and even if i build a casual deck i dont go out of that format for something like madblind mountain (maybe thats just me tho :P m8s keep telling me i shouldnt try to make everything perfect .. like hybrid cards only in decks that play both colors :P)
Not a big fan of him but he fits the deck i guess: World Queller.
so apart from the few artifact lands that is standard :o. i wouldnt take it as a deck for any other format tbh. btw .. posted 2 more comments @ your old deck and u should look into known combos like Sword of the Meek + Thopter foundry and so on as well.
oh and Mycosynth Lattice makes it way easier to play artifacts all the time and also removes any troubly with manascrewing u might have :P
i know this is extended but still for some inspiration u might wanna check out the artifact deck here (affinity) http://wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/td/70. to make sure u can untap that guy Aura of Dominion could help. Energy Tap might be a way to boost your mana there, play another artifact from your hand and do that over and over. i duno, just try and find some ways to actually gain something from tapping him that helps playing artifacts which again untap and so on. could be a pretty neat deck if u do it right. gl with it ;)
How is this not boros??? <- second that, @ Zeus_Biggy: u want your godsire on the turn after the ranger, this deck isnt about having a godsire but instead about just bashing in with the cheap drops, taking out blockers with path/bolt etc. and playing a bushwhacker (+1/+0 & haste for all) with a bunch of other cheap hitters & some lands for those with landfall on the final turn. if that doesnt work the deck is probably pretty screwed but the speed of this sort of deck u really shouldnt underestimate ;).
looks like a standard deck ... + Conquerors pledge, + another Pikemaster, + Kor Aeronaut & Hookmaster + possibly Skyfisher, Ranger of Eos - 1 honor of the pure - 1 / 2 Ascensions - other spells (get to ~ 12 - 14 with enchantments & other stuff so u can have lots of creatures) - 1x plains your creatures are ok ofc but id really take a look into those. possibly even Knight-Captain of Eos as a permanent Fog spell. if u feel like it u can ofc use the mentioned coat of arms but just by looking at your creatures they should be big enough and with the pikemaster's firststrike thats pretty awesome ;).
Change out the Minotaur and Carabid for something better maybe even Blitz Hellion -> they are mostly there to cycle as it looks and what would he do with blitz hellion? -> id most likely play Burning Inquiry as it works like a 3 / 6 or even more dmg spell in this sort of deck. -> Pestilent Kathari might do a good job at defending with firststrike deathtouch as they will obviously have lots of cards to play every turn and therefore u should think about how to stop their big beaters. also its pretty likely u wont need your mana for much else on the l8er turns.
