lol ok slow down bud. seething song and ur myr work like this

i tap my myr = 1 red mana in my mana pool
tap my two mountain and now the red mana from the myr
play seething song now i have a total of five mana unused.

u dont play any land from ur hand using cards like this. all they really r is a different kind of land when u think about it. like the myr, he is just a creature that makes a land once per a turn when he is tapped but once the turn is over it disappears.

ok deff not enough mana for this deck my friend. thats the first thing wrong with ur deck here. the one card i would advise to add if u can find any, would be jace beleren since he is the milling plainswalker. ur mana curve is a lil high as well. but deff fix the mana base 1st.

not bad but u dont really need that many mountain for this deck. its mana curve is really low so u can run a little less land for it. only add i can see for the deck is minus 2 mountain add in 2 of the new chandra.

ur mana curve is way too high and u r missin 6 cards atm. ur idea is good but against a good red deck this wont last more than a few turns. use green's greatest power, mana ramping and poppin out big creatures way before they r to be expected. also a lil protection from those red spells would help ya out.

ok land count is too low to run this many dragons, also u need to fix goblin war paint, there is 5 currently and u can only have 4 lol. u really need more mana ramping in here for this deck to run way better. the hardest part when running dragons, is the fact they take alot of mana to pull out and can be slow. so u need to hinder ur opp for as long as u can and at the same time be pumping out as much land or mana producing spells as u can.

ok givin somethin protection means it simply cant be targeted or blocked or dealt damage by anything it gains pro of in example pro red simply means anything that is red cant touch that card. no damage can be done, it cant be blocked by a red creature and u cant target it with something red.

now the cloak in a way does the same thing, only it cant be the target of any spells or abilities no matter what the color. how ever it is NOT indestructible. if u played something that destroys all creatures for instance, then it would whipe out ur creature cause its not targeting just it, its hitting all creatures.

u can also just destroy the cloak and then the enchanment to make things a little easier.

ur welcome. actualy its a combination of the two. there r a few sites u can go to and look them u to ur hearts content lol. the most obvious is magicthegathering.com when u go there click on trading card game then on products. if u click on where it says all products u can see a complete list of every set including those that r currently what is known as Type2 standard legal. the other site i use is card kingdom.com u can see every set and search for cards seperatly such as dragon. if ya need anything feel free to tag my decks or post here again im glade to help a new duelist.

well this deck has been posted many times by various ppl. its a common idea that has been completely banned/restricted to my knowing. its a blast to play in casual though minus the extreme hate u get from ppl lol.

here is a simple deck idea for ya

4 etched champion
3 memnite
3 iron myr
2 gold myr
3 Indomitable Archangel
4 dispatch
4 lightning bolt
3 glinthawk idol
4 evolving wilds ( only cause its a cheap search land)
4 myr galvanizer
3 ichor wellspring
4 dismember
3 galvanic blast
10 plains
8 mountain

not very strong but it isnt very expensive and can give u some kind of base line

ur welcome lol yes it is a very stratagy based game and can be a handful if u dont get it. mostly b/c it was invented by a college professor. anyways, so u r looking to make a R/W metal craft deck hmm interesting i might have a deck list here for ya in a lil while to help ya out. =D

ok first of all welcome to the plains of magic =]

now devm had a few good points. but to be a lil more accurate find a good card u want to build ur deck around. maybe its a big powerful dragon or just using a bunch of lil creatures to swarm ur opp. once u have that find the cards that work with the deck and spells that work as well. there is almost an endless possiability for decks in magic. u can look up decks using cards for a base liine or do as u have here. most of the time its good to run 3 or 4 copies of most cards in ur deck.

drop 2 shores and 2 catacombs for a total of 4 search lands. i dont think the chalice needs to be in either. to help keep ur opp at bay while u supercharge tezzy i would add in tumble magnets. diemember out for another throat, duress out for another despise. i also think that bsz woudl be a lil better here than life's finale. im not so sure SE is needed here either. not sure what it could be swaped out for though. other than those few things it doesnt look bad imo.

yah thats true. yes the buff works for the tokens as well. that is just part of the game really. i have been playing for years now and all i can say is in my experiance its a matter of preferance plus what goes with ur decks overall theme/build.
