Please don't be offended i wasn't completely sure as i looked at both and noticed they were built very similarly and I've seen many people make the mistake. i actually liked them both lol

Mangara is actually being removed from a lot of death and taxes decks because it revolves around a combo to use its full potential constantly bouncing it and playing it again.

I'm unsure if your aware but you have to sacrifice three creatures regardless if the creatures are multi color. only stating this as most of the cards here are at least two colors for the creatures. all of the cards like dragon's Herald work the same way

I'm not sure about what your budget for its supposed to be but maybe coat of arms or door to destinies?

I have to say extort simply because it really can't be stopped except with removal and it'll have to be a great deal of it because hexproof doesn't stop it since its each opponent not target. burn has too many ways to stop it now..

I actually think two ports should be alright maybe a third but four could come back and bite you if you end up only getting them. like i stated above I'm going to proxy this before starting to gather it together but ill definitely keep in mind what you've said since I usually only play casually with a group of friends but i want to get into competitive play.

Its not very original. but its my take on a very very nice legacy deck that from what I've seen doesn't lose often

As for the suggestion to add earlier buffs id actually recommend imperious perfect as it can makr a token itself as well as giving it +1+1 and costs three still but only one required green where archdruid and champion requires two. Soit'll be a bit easier to get out earlier imo. Like the build though its original and won't likely be noticed until its too late.

Well mirran crusader is the real finisher in this build so i put 4 in to get him quickly. you definitely makr a good point though I've seen jace the mind sculptor in many of the tournament videos on youtube as well as brainstorm but with it being kind of dependant in if the opponent is playing blue ill add it to the sideboard for sure. this isn't a deck i have and likely never will because of the value in it alone but i'm going to proxy it out and mess with it cuz it looks fun to play.

As for which would be better it would likely be your control. I'm sure you have counter spells makin it harder to drop the lower casting cards early game

When i say this its going off my friends knight deck which is quite similarto yours. i tend to win about 3 of 4with him because of the swords of light and shadow or war and peace makin it to where he can't block ajd mirran crusader hits twice activating the swords twice. but othet times i just demolished he has a few mor buffers in his than you. but with your deck i think it would be a very interesting game but i think i would pull ahead again though thats going off my friends deck
