Because they'll usually just exile the GY if the card they're playing matters. Arcane Denial is a cheap, hard counter, that gives back. Remand is the same kind of thing, but I think it's near 2 bucks a pop.
What would a counter-Vintage deck look like? Stifle-Nought with Gemstone Caverns, and FOURce of Wills?
Yeah, never take them out, they're great!

Actually, if you add Inkmoth Nexus and Shuko, this deck can be "good", but still not good enough for the only formats it's legal in.

Lightning Greaves and Sol Ring will speed up the controling.

Use FoW and Goyf damnit! Seriously though, you could try Arcane Denial. It does give opponents cards, but you also get the cantrip.
For white draw, use Mentor of the Meek. For black draw, use Bloodgift Demon.
Sorry, you need Pornithopter too.
This deck is hilariously broken Awz?! Enough to break porn websites. Honestly, you are a terrible deck builder, but you make the best decks, and you have the best comments. I think you should add red to this deck though, so you can use Sunforger and Lightning Helix. Make it even bettew!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! That's awesome man! Totally retire it! I actually retired my Birthing Pod deck, a couple days before Bpod jumped, so I got to sell/trade them at a higher price than I got them for...7 out of 8 of em. I kept one for EDH :P
It could be a one of, with your infinite mana. I actually made a modern elf combo* deck...without Rings...check it!
Some people use "1 of's" because they want more than 4 cards that do the same thing, or they can tutor it up. I think this point is less than valid, but it isn't wrong. There actually are non-EDH singleton decks as well, just saying (which gives me an idea).
