Yup, built so that there's 8 methods of untapping said Vorels and Coretappers as well as potential mana acceleration. The non Modern version I have linked in the Description should work a smidge better since it has better digging capabilities with Brainstorm, Ponder and such and all the untappers do not require mana to do their thing :)

Although proliferate is an interesting mechanic for adding counters it's only effective when it affects multiple targets, which is not the case for this deck. With this deck the only permanent you're interested in having counters on is the Darksteel Reactor. The creatures and artifacts in the line-up are such that they synergize to add more charge counters on one single artifact than proliferate would do.Look at it this way: Any proliferate will add 1 extra counter; some effects allow you to proliferate twice, thus adding 2 counters both of which at the cost of 3-4 mana. With the creatures and artifacts in here you can add a minimum of 3 counters for 2 mana or double the counters 2 or 3 times for 2 mana each time and just win the game. Throne of Geth for instance can proliferate once for 2 mana or proliferate multiple times by sacrificing other artifacts. In conclusion: I have considered proliferate for the deck but theorized that it is much slower and more costly to charge up the Reactor than every other "charger" currently in the deck. Whatever is not a reactor or cards that work towards charging it are there simply to find you these cards, with some Fog a bit of defense for a couple turns until you win the game.I hope you understand my thought process behind not putting proliferate in this :)TL;DR: I find Proliferate too slow of a mechanic for this deck ;)
Agreed. I would have loved to put a Progenitus.. or more in this but it just doesn't work. Iona is awesome though really pricey at about $30 a piece.I settled on the current line-up though. A wide mix of flyers, protection from 4 of the colors, double strike, first strike, lifelink, vigilance, firebreathing... Gisela for doubling damage and halving damage taken and a Malfegor for some mass killing if the board gets cluttered since I've set it up so that you should never dump your entire hand, you should almost always keep going up in cards :)The library is also there for when there's a specific card you don't want to discard to all the random discard effects (like other looting spells or lands you may need), you just get to put it on top of your library for your next draw. With the total price at just under $100 I'm quite pleased with it so far.
My intention for this deck is to limit the more expensive cards. Multiple Griselbrands at $33 each is a bit too much for me :-/, though I agree he would make quite the impact.
Thanks. I'm still fishing for the "finishers" I'd like to use for the deck. Right know I'm just sure I want Gisela.
Indeed. For the sake of further clarification a bestow creature is considered an Enchantment Aura spell only if cast for the bestow cost (in case there's anything that can interact with Aura spells on the stack). If the enchant target is removed before the bestow resolves, the spell becomes an Enchantment Creature instead and just resolves as a creature if I'm not mistaken.Bestow is not my most favorite mechanic because of how awkward it feels to me with how it changes the cards' identity every time something changes O_O
I meant that Bestow creatures become Auras if they're bestowed onto something. Whilst in the library or in your hand they're not auras, thus no interaction with Pilgrim. My bad for my weird wording.
Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to grab the Archetype since the Pilgrim only tutors for Auras. Enchantment creatures only become auras with the usage of Bestow.
Here's my addition to this challenge (Modular / Proliferate centered deck that I made a while ago):http://www.mtgvault.com/crimsonglade/decks/arcbound-2/
I'm not sure. I don't have that much practical experience with that wide of a range of cards or archetypes but the way I see it what the prophet offers is the possibility for virtually gaining extra turns to mill and cast spells in.Kiora's Follower would only untap one permanent and in my eyes it offers a bit less flexibility but I'd like to hear why you think the Prophets are a doubtful pick.2 deliberative minds work better than one :P
Oh yeah, I'm dying to get some myself but without the Coursers of Kruphix which are like 15$ a pop it's not worth it :-/
Sylvan Caryatid is just far far far beyond the "budget" basis of this deck series at about 7$ a pop with how popular it is in Standard at the moment, Zaklax13 :P
As far as sacrificing creatures is concerned I do already have 6 outlets between the Thrones and the Ravagers though maybe that number might have to go up a smidge, I'm not really sure.Magistrate's Scepter on the other hand is not really usable for this decks' purposes since I wanted to keep it in Modern realm. If that weren't the case though it would indeed be quite fun. The deck would probably give up on the Steel Overseers and some other tidbits in favor of the scepters and some Energy Chambers to get the charges going.
Hmm, interesting little card. It may just be actually. Bunch cheaper too.Nice find :)
I couldn't justify Manamorphoses' price for this specific deck. Everflowing Chalice is a fun suggestion though and I'll see what I could scrap for it.
Well it's mostly due to budget restrictions.
Indeed, that's why I upped the Swamp count by 1. Hopefully it should do. If I ever actually make this deck I'd just include a couple Godless Shrines anyway to help out. :)
Well if I'm going to run the Soul for the unblockability I'd like consistency. As such I'd like to include the playset. On that note I replaced the Akrasan Squire instead and shifted the Plains - Swamp distribution by adding one swamp to account for only mono black 1 drops.
Hmm, thanks for the suggestion. I could just replace the Aven Squires with them without hurting the deck all that much I would think. :-?
Thanks, the Idea for Venser is to have him do useful things in the late game. Blinking either Muldrifters or Jaces for card advantage every turn as well as digging for your Aetherlings; changing targets for your Oblivion Rings and Detention Spheres should they be needed, and once he's at 9+ counters he becomes an Exiling force everytime you cast anything. I just love the card in general :) (Although he is more useful in other deck designs, like my U/W Allies deck of which I'm quite proud)
