Sideboard reason. Ofc that sideboard is extremely outdated.

There's no timer, you can play forever, until someone scoops or ropes out. I only play Historic over Arena.
One of my first decks was updated on Monday, 27 Jul 2015.But I do wonder why I quit using tags as well!I only use MTGvault nowdays to store my deck ideas mostly... and oh boy, the list is growing... I think it's time for me to clean it. XD
It's alright, me too, but I am so lazy I almost never add tag lines anyways. XD
Uhm, this is my Standard deck, so I can't play Spellskite or Boseiju.. or Kira. :oI will add more mythic rares(like the 4c Omnath) once I get hold of those damn wild cards. XD
If I want Atog, I will just play regular Affinity. No this deck is just a theory how it could be built and Atog will not work with it's current engine I'm afraid.
Wait... was there another creature that gets untapped when another creature enters the battlefield in Historic, Magic Arena?I normally only make Gond combo decks with Midnight guard, but he is not on Arena. :/
Well of Lost Dream won't do anything at all to the boardstate while Dawn of Hope at least can give you a 1/1 Lifelink, it's the same activate cost as Atanto, the first fort(DoH 3W: and Atanto 2W-Tap:) and have shown to take over the long game. You can cast Venerated Loxodon as early as in T3 and it does something instantly while a rhox faitmender will just be a 1/4 lifelink that won't do anything until T5 and after and that's way too slow.Sun Titan returns any permanent you control with cmc 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield on ETB and that does a better job than Rhox Faitmender in the long game.Sun Titan can win a game all by itself while a Faitmender's just a 1/4 Lifelink that doubles lifegain and that won't win the game because you don't get anything if the opponent kills the Faithmender while you get at least something from the Sun Titan and Sun Titan dodges pretty much almost all single target removals in Modern and it combos extremely well with Emeria, The Sky Ruin in the lategame if you have 7 or more plains on the battlefield. In conclusion, no, I don't think Well of Lost Dream and/or Rhox Faitmender are better alternative than anything in this deck. Sorry. :/
The deck that changed the format. ;P
If you think that you're so clever to put out a invalid statement like that, Jaded, then I've lost all respect I had for you.
It sure does! Legacy Storm can lose to a 20 dollar deck as well, not that hard.
To give a quick idea of what the deck does:Archaeomancer+Ghostly Flicker+Lone Missionary/Mulldrifter=life each turn or card drawArchaeomancer+Ghostly Flicker+Kor Skyfisher+Oblivion Ring=Permanent exile.
I haven't finished with description or gameplay yet, I tend to fix it once I have time.
I love that more people are building more ping-decks today! I love Thermo-Alchemist!
Thank you. :)
Triton Tactics is illegal in Pauper and Freed From the Real is a bit too clumsy. Defender decks can stabilize pretty quickly. I'm a first-hand-witness to UB Defender Mill and that deck did hurt pretty much, haha. ;)
About the description and how to play, I'm sadly too tired to write. I have too much in my head to be able to do that, I'm sorry. :/But the rest I can work on. :)
That's just too cute to be true. XD
I will look into it, when I feel more awake. Thank you. :)
Thank you, I forgot about that one. ;D
