Yeah blood makes it a finisher if necessary, removal if that's the mode you want. It can hit players, creatures and pw. It's a solid card.

I would say flesh//blood over fall of the hammer.

That's an interesting card, but I don't feel as if removing creatures for more non-creature spells will be beneficial for this deck. I have tried it out and it slows the deck down. Thanks for commenting though!

I would recommend a minimum of 22 lands. unless you are running rdw (red deck wins) there should never be a situation to run under 22 lands. Also, make 4 of your lands nykthos, it will heavily increase your deck. you should also run 4 BTE (burning tree emissary) to increase devotion.

I don't think nylea is necessary, and would rather run brimaz in its place.

you are running way too little land for the type of deck you are playing. (15 is too small for any deck no matter what)

Thanks man, it does amazing against esper control from what I've seen and even esper reanimator, but like every deck, it dies to land destruction because of the curve. I faced a naya deck that ran resto and thrag, but also ramped into acidic slime by turn three and kills my lands. its pretty much game after that. I have had much more luck against the rest of the meta though. It is able to stifle aggro and fight other midrange decks like jund because of the fact that discard is an outlet for us and junk is a rival in a sense, but our threats tend to outpace theirs once ours start to hit the field.

Skylasher is a good addition? And it is anti blue so if they are playing blue you could side it in? Well the issue with populate is that it needs a viable target and it creates a stack when it triggers, so the opponent can respond and remove your last viable target for that...
