Meh to the lightning bolts. I'd rather have a turn locked down in my favor than one extra damage. Even if the effect costs a whole one mana extra. But there will be silver blades. Just ordered me some o that figgy pudding, yo.

Maybe.... I think I'm going to try it like this first. We've freed some path to exiles with those fiend hunters. I'll use them with mother runes for mana and add some forbidding watchtowers for some extra defence. If I still don't get what I want, then I'll try some green mana ramp and lures... good idea with the lures, btw.

Oooo.. maybe. What do you think I should take out? I like my 7 toughness walls to en-kor damage over to or pariah in a pinch

Maybe you're right... but each time I draw a sample hand, I get mana probs with being able to play those spells. Like getting no black mana for your abrupt decays and murders.

Signal the clans and maybe an increasing ambition.... I like the idea of playing farseek, pulling out increasing ambition and searching your deck for absolutely anything you want all for two mana.... or it'll allow you to pull out possibility storm when you draw it outright. That may speed things up a bit.

Only if they don't have the same name..... I was trying to think of something that you could a.) Get a blocker out faster b.) Get mana out faster of the color you need and c.) Spend a low mana cost to possibility storm something with a high mana cost.
Signal the clans and pulling out low cost mana fetchers would do all three.

I'm probably going to post multiple times on this simply because I'm at work and can only look and think during breaks. Lol. But my first thought every time I use this website to draw a hand on this deck is this.... "how in the hell am I going to survive the next five turns?" I'm thinking it'll be hard but not impossible in standard.... but maybe gatecreeper vines for a start. Along with a few... just a few gates. That'll help, I think. But this is hard hard to do with as everywhere as it is.

I did have four wraths in here at one time. I don't know. They almost made it too long. Your opponent virtually "kills themselves." Taking away all their creatures makes it hard to do that. Know what I subbed them with? Witch Hunter. Then I subbed those for spirit en-kor. I found that just being able to shove that damage around did pretty well slowing it down without crippling someone. But maybe I just played them unwisely. I feel like you'd have to play the deck to get it. I dunno. Maybe I'll throw them in again. Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought the same. Sadly..... I'm torn. Wall of nets would be what I replace, but.... deck's so slow that I usually end up relying on them when I play with this deck. And I'd have to deconstruct my wife's deck to make it happen. Scared to. Lol... but I'm going to play test that one day.
