yea.. true...to both... nice ideas... if i could afford it.. id actually buy it to see how it does... tezzeret and garruk make the artifacts all 8/8 trample for one turn... which is almost an army of kaldra with the lattice and forge in play
why bother with the venser's sliver? id add a might and a ward and pull out venser's sliver.. legion is b/a tho... only one toxin? ... i'd trade spitting for talon and you only need one fury when i used red in mine i only needed one and i have like 3... overall tho... its not bad... sliver's are broken anyway...
terramorphic expanse wouldnt work in this deck... because it looks for basic lands... although everything in the deck is either a swamp, island, mountain, or combination of any 2... land can be non-basic and still have a basic land type...

you can fetch the lands that are there... they dont have to be "basic land"s they just have to be either a mountain or a swamp... and all the lands there - except for the islands and itself can be fetched
if you dont plan on seeing sorin then maybe you should pull him from the deck and actually then you can pull 1 swamp and put 2 of basilisk collar in... the deck is pretty solid as it sits tho...
thanks... im not sure how to modify the cost to bettter improve the deck... i added the knight of new alara to make some of the creatures in the deck more practical... even still i think that initially the focus was more on the landfall than naya..
more basic land... all your land search cards look for basic land... you need more if you ge 2 basic land in your opening hand ur screwed... make it a 80 card deck just add basic land and terramorphic expanse... then maybe add something that could use alot of land late game... i like the rampaging baloths.. or you can pull the panoramas and put in basic land and see what it does... its not a bad deck tho...
sylvan bounty can get removed also... id add more of the visionary... primal bellow isnt bad... id consider removing 2 groundswell and put in more of the primal bellow then remove the other 2 grounswell for vines of vastwood...
id run 4 of the war caller remove nature's claim and soul's might... either remove wurm's tooth or lurking predators ... and put another one of the latter in ... it needs more work than that... but that should give you something to see what its missing..
... yea... i kno the jitte gets you life... but you have multiple things that cost life and only one way to retrieve it...
not a bad deck.. alot of paying life tho... maybe sideboard some life gain... basilisk collar.. and loxodon warhammer...

this was in response to the deck challenge i saw on the home page... i dont kno how old it was... but still anyway... bounce the seerers to draw cards... when everything for the combo is in play remove planar guide ftw... or just lightning bolt them to death with the furnace in play... it can be improved... but i do like the ovinomancer he comes into play and doesnt get hurt bc of light of sanction... next turn if your opponent played a creature that had toughness greater than 4 tap the ovinomancer and they take 4 damage... land fall would be cool... but it might slow the deck down more... it's already waiting on the enchants and land... thanks tho...
try consume spirit... in stead of the drain life... or tendrils if you wanted a cheaper version to cast... i like the evening star with the sanguine bond.... nice combo... if you change it at all... sanguine bond with blood tribute when you pay the kicker... 2 halves equall a whole.. anyway... overall ive seen better but its not bad...
you have very little blue... and most of the red is for mana... id pull out some of the cards that provide mana and put in some cards that let you draw cards.... only because you have the color in the deck and it seems as though you should just pull it out ... considering how much red is actually in it.... it looks like it might work every once in a while but it wont be consistent...
yea ... i cannot stand that... "it needs work" or equivilant responses ... - yea i kno it does... thats why it's posted... what does it need or nice combo but this is faster... ... +1
when hexmage first came out ... i thought about it ... and wasnt sure what else to put with it... hexmage is rediculous.. if i may add ... it kills planeswalkers... makes the everflowing chalice useless and shits on the fungus or anything based on counters... aside from making a 20/20 avatar on turn 2... great idea... i cant call it original but the deck looks solid... nice build...
