I never considered Courser, but I'll try it out.

it says it on the card, pay blue or 2 life
sorry i am retarded and i forgot to put in any swamps. apologies on my behalf for being a giant retard. just imagine the good lands that i cannot afford
Thanks! I'm trying to experiment w/ it at my LGS. I really love High Tide and I saw a video covering a deck splashing red and I tried to make it my own.
nice, man. nic fit is a great deck for legacy. but, veteran explorer is the most important card in the deck. i've seen versions that have ran 3 well before, but if you want to be as optimal as possible you're gonna want the full four.
sweet deck man!
oh, ok. maybe just run 4 apostle blessing bc it can make it potentially unblockable.
Maybe consider Steam Augury or Faithless Looting. They're good cantrips that feed Chimera.
I played a similar deck to this once, hope I can give you some insight. Karametra's Favor isn't needed, with all your cantrips you should be able to fine mantle easily. Mizzium Skin isn't great as a 4 of because it increases the density of non-cantrip cards in your deck. You should also run Serum Visions, since you don't need to go off on the opponents turn for this to work. Most cantrips are sorcery speed. Also you might want to run Sleight of Hand as a cantrip. In the board, Stony Silence shuts down your Paradise Mantle. Also you have no white mana sources in your deck. Even though you can produce it w/ mantle you're probably going to want an easier way to cast it. Just my ideas.
Like the deck. Here's my thoughts. Logic Knot doesn't work well with Elixir, either keep elixir or logic knot. I play turbo fog myself, and Elixir is very good when you don't want to mill yourself and you want to reuse your fogs. It also gains you life. Which is good in this deck since it seems you'll be doing quite some damage to yourself with Fevered VIsions and your mana base. Replace Angel's Grace with a fog. If you were to die on your turn and you cast Angel's Grace, you lose instantly next turn. It doesn't fog any damage. If you're running more Elixirs, run more Angelsong. You can cycle it when you have lots of fogs in hand and shuffle it back in. Also, Rest in Peace isn't the best graveyard hate since it's a non bow with elixir. Maybe run Ravenous Trap instead? Same thing with Stony Silence. Personally, I'd replace Remand with Mana Leak bc it doesn't stall the spell. Although it doesn't cycle and trigger the tutelage, that shouldn't be too hard to trigger in the first place. Lastly, RUN MORE FOGS. You only have 9. (Excluding Angel's Grace.) Run stuff like Etherial Haze, Kami of False Hope. Stuff like that. Hope this helps!
Awesome deck, I love Nic Fit myself, so hopefully my tips can give you some help. First of all, I think you should run more tops. It smooths out the deck more and interacts great with Courser. Also, you don't have Grove of the Burnwillows to go with Punishing Fire. You'll want 3 - 4. Volrath's Stronghold is very unnecessary, so that's a start on lands to cut. In the sideboard, Leyline the Void isn't good as a two of. Either run the full four, or run different graveyard hate. You may also wanna cut Melira from the board, as Infect is an uncommon matchup. Although it does depend on the meta. Hope this helps!
I think instead of Fleeting Memories you should run Sphinx's Tutelage. It'll make the deck cost a little more but I think the triggers will stack up fast because all the investigating.
What about Mishra's Bauble? Free delirium enabler to help with traverse.
I do agree that red is better, but I really wanted to make something different and get a lot of value out of Loam. I think Burgeoning would be very effective against the mirror but I don't expect to play it.
why more mountains than islands? you need islands to cast your treasure hunt. if you're worried about not being able to seismic, just run some fetches, cascade bluffs and duals.
This deck is sweet
Necrum I'm sorry to hear that. Magic does bring people together tho :) I can understand why people wouldn't like playing against it.
chainsawmilo I have playtested it on tapped out but I'll most likely proxy it.
yea. it's really made for people who like to make their opponent's scoop up their cards and walk away in a huff. lol
Thanks! I'll probably add those ideas to the main deck. Although Mindbreak Trap is very good for combo, it only stops them the first time they try to go off. So I chose Meddling Mage because if resolved it completely stops them if I name the right card.
