I made a similar deck with some of the same cards. I recommend adding Beck if you can splash for it. It's basically Glimpse of Nature and lets you draw a lot of cards. Also, whenever you get a goblin with Empty the Warrens you get to draw a card. It makes the deck a lot more consistent if you're willing to splash 2 colors.

i would suggest running some 2 drop eldrazis for eye and temple, it makes your early game not rely on having the urza lands out.

i did originally have smallpox in there but i decided overall not to run it b/c it ruined my tempo. i also thought this build needed some more removal and i added another pack rat for good measure.

It's not totally budget but I personally cannot afford Thoughtseize. I would run it if I could afford it.

I don't think I would ever run Lord of the Pit. Yea, it's nostalgic but it's also terrible. :p
