Along the lines of Land Count, most sources I look into recommend having about 50 forms of land/ramp. 38 lands and 12 mana rocks/ramp spells/mana dorks. Of course each deck will vary from that slightly depending on the builder, but that's kind of the average recommended amounts.Honestly, I thought it was kind of BS until I tried it with some of my decks, and the immediately became more consistent and I had fewer mana screwed moments. Now, I try to do this with all of my EDH decks.

I was super confused when I noticed your deck was modern legal yet still ran Darkness. I have an original copy of it and had no idea it was it the time spiral special reprint set. That's awesome!
My first time playing against it, I was using Boros Feather (my version is more token themed with impact tremors). Yeah, it got really annoying how many fogs and board wipes he used. It makes me really want to make the deck lol. Fortunately, because of my token subtheme, which he wasn't expecting, I was able to win game 3.https://www.mtgvault.com/blackrazz/decks/feather-tremors-budgetpioneer/P.S. I went to go look at your deck, but I don't think you have it listed as a public deck, so I couldn't see it.
I've always wanted to build this kind of deck, but can never get myself to do it. I like having friends and my mill deck makes them mad enough lol.I like the enchantment subtheme. I've never thought of doing that. I would put in Hellkite Tyrant to remove their mana rocks in addition to destroying their lands.
I'm always curious as to why people don't run Crackling Perimeter, at least in the sideboard in case you need it. I've only against this kind of deck a couple times, so I'm not an expert at piloting it.Also, Gates Ablaze is only ~25cents so I think you can for sure find room for it. It's such a powerful card in this deck, IMO. I would also run 1 copy of Gateway Plaza in case someone destroys one of your gates you have only one copy of, or in case of something like Unmoored Ego removing a playset of gates from your deck.
I know this is a more aggressive deck but I'm curious how well it works out with so few lands/ramp. Most decks that I see perform well are closer to 50 lands/ramp split 38/12. I only counted a total of 36 lands/ramp (?) split 28/8. Now being aggressive you can afford to cut down on lands and such, but 14 less seems like a lot less. Also, you do have the OG dual lands and fetch lands which helps get the right kind of mana.If you run into mana issues while playing this, I'd recommend putting a few more lands/ramp in (not a ton more, again to keep your aggressive nature of the deck.)I like the deck however! Looks fun to play and to play against.
I've found some great success from using Raven's Crime especially when getting mana flooded.Great deck!
I got only one copy of Spellstutter Sprite, so I'd need to get a few more. I threw Mulldrifter because I know it's a commonly used card in pauper (but I'm not really familiar with how to build pauper; I'm stilling getting into it.)Thanks for the input!
I personally like it just for flexibility of colors. Mine is still dominantly red, but There are a few nice inclusions you can't get from mono red. If you just wanted to add green, you could put in Sarkhan Vol.Here's a few I like:- Savage Ventmaw- Intet, the Dreamer- Atarka, World Render- Bower Passage- Monastery SiegeHere's my deck list (not up to date and a little more focused on flavor that strength): https://www.mtgvault.com/blackrazz/decks/oathbreaker-sarkhan/
A few suggestions: Sewer Nemesis, Nighthowler, and Wight of Precinct Six. These all scale with milling. Fraying Sanity is a great way to finish someone off and single them out. I'd add a few more lands in. Most sources recommend 50 forms of mana, 37-39 lands and 11-13 rocks/ramp.Besides that, it looks great!
I would recommend cutting a few of your weaker dragons and putting a few more lands. For High Mana curve decks you really need access to more lands. There are some great low mana cost ways to play more lands on your turn to help accelerate your land ramp. (Exploration, Rites of Flourishing, Summer Bloom, Arboreal Grazer, Burgeoning, Elvish Pioneer, Llanowar Scout, Sakura-Tribe Scout, Skyshroud Ranger)That's just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. Here's a link to my version, it's a little more combo based, but very similar. https://www.mtgvault.com/blackrazz/decks/my-favorite-kind-of-deck-20/
I prefer to use Sarkhan Unbroken for my oathbreaker to give access to a few of the nice green and blue dragons (i.e. Atarka). Also, Sol Ring is banned in Oathbreaker, last I checked.Nice deck though!
Unfortunately you can't use Nicol Bolas or Sarkhan because they're both red which doesn't fit the color identity of Atraxa.
I really like this twist on this deck. Does bring to light really help a lot? Have you done much playtesting?
I like the addition of the Royal Scions. Very nice!
I figured red was for Magnetic Theft, so you'd want red.
Now that Faithless Looting is banned, what do you think would be a good replacement for it?
I would look into the black lands from Throne of Eldraine. They could fit nicely here.
Running a couple Castles is really good. Never a bad option.
This is why I hate/love Teferi. This deck is so powerful its amazing, but it feels like crap to play against. Teferi is like the Jace the Mind Sculptor of Standard and Pioneer at the moment.
