Suggestions taken! Let me know what you think about the changes. I appreciate the input!
I agree, DIMIR some nice cards!
WOoooooOW!
Thanks for the input. I have 3 mortify in it for elimination (with three murders side boarded). Two spectral processions that give three tokens each and two lingering souls that can be played for a cheap flashback cost, all adding a good bit of tokens to the board. The drovers allow me to beef them when a token leaves play or use it's counters for even more tokens. I have dark ritual side boarded, allowing me to sac a creature for mana should a deck I'm against be really fast. Sacking the tokens for mana, in turn, beef the drovers, and/or adding more tokens. I guess my question is, what do you suggest I add/remove? Any ideas for any of my other creations?
As long as it doesn't get countered, Primal Surge is GG/GN, in this deck! I can say, however, playing catch up in this game is not as easy as I thought! I'm just glad the guys I play with aren't sticklers for what IS and ISN"T legal in tournament play. It is pretty lax around here, although they did get pissy over my Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood combo! (Can't say that I blame em) Besides, I'm not playing in tournaments and half my old cards wouldn't be legal anymore, putting me at a serious disadvantage with my current selection of cards! I just play for fun. I'm not good enough to play for money, anyway. Can't wait for my kids to get old enough to play, maybe I'll finally win a few! I appreciate the convo and all your input! Keep me updated on your new ideas.
OMG! I found the elvish fountain of knowledge. Every little morsel is helpful and will be tried out. Thank you again!
I have a buddy that has elvish piper in mind for his deck, which could be rather useful, but his deck and mine are so, similar already, I feel it would cause issues. Know of any artifacts that give you the ability to put a creature from your hand onto the playing field or from your library onto the field?
Finally someone that doesn't mind getting down and dirty with the advice! I value the input GREATLY! I played magic YEARS ago, like 1997, and have just run into a few folks locally that play. Sad thing is, I've known them for years and had no clue they even played. I pulled out the old cards, dusted them off, and have tried to re-familiarize myself with the game. I love the new mechanics too. I can tell you, there is a lot to be said about a bad ass elf deck, even to this day. This one is pretty tough, but with solid advice like this, may get even stronger! Not sure if you'd mind taking a look at my other decks for criticism, but I'm all ears....or eyes! Thanks!
would you mind looking over some of my other decks. Most are just experiments, and need a lot of fine tuning. I just play for fun!
I may try that. I actually run the task master and field of souls together in this deck. This allows me to sacrifice a creature each turn with my task master, while replacing it with field of souls. The sacrifice I made allows me to take advantage of the drover, either beefing it up, or using it to put two more tokens on the field. It works well locally, but there aren't many people in this area, either! Haven't tried Ajani in this one yet, but it sounds good! This is the first time I've gotten a response on this site. I appreciate the input!
Would love some actual feedback on this one. Good, Bad, I don't care...just want some opinions. Thanks!
I have a deck with a similar combo....Sanguine Bond/Exquisite blood.....Is it legal? Can someone look at it and tell what I should do with it? "Once Bitten..." is the deck name.
Not many of you out there willing to offer suggestions are there?
Revamped Black Sacrifice.
Comments anyone?
Nobody gonna offer up a comment? Good, bad, nothing?
I reckon I like dragons too, Uh-mm, Huh.
I like it MUCH!
