Any ideas for a side board are welcome.
I have a very Fiery Temper....Wait, you meant the card!
I suggested the Plunge to get Blood Letting (5cmc)out earlier.....but to each his own!
I totally agree. Usually the ones doing the bashing are just pissed they can't get a deck of theirs on the front page. Keep on Keepin on!
Curse of blood letting, Infernal plunge, and Battle hymn might be nice additions. I like it!
I swear, I wish they could find a way to limit the haters and bashers on this site. There are a few that left comments on this deck that seem to make a habit of going around leaving nothing but hate for people to sift through! I like the idea, the deck, and truly don't care if something similar has been posted before. Every deck on this site has probably been made by someone else at one time or another, whether it has been posted, made the front page, or just played in somebody's living room with friends.. Like the old adage says, if you can't say something nice, then FUCK OFF! If you don't like it, then DON"T LIKE IT....Nice job Lunchbox!
I'd add a few Guttersnipes, with all the instants and sorcery spells you have. It's an easy way to sneak 2 damage in! Another cheap way to insure you get damage dealt is goblin fireslinger. I like this deck, bud!
Another option might be Verdant Haven....2 Life and a mana of any color! Use it with your Arbor elf for 4 total, or if its on the same land as the Abundant Growth it could be 8 total! Volcanic Geyser would be a nice SB, too! Again, I like this deck, bud!
I replied to one of them
I don't actually build my decks for tournament play. I'm more of a casual player that has a few friend over on the weekends to get down. Extended, modern, legacy.....Play your cards if you have 'em when you come to my house!
Maybe a reclaim or two to make sure you can bring something back that has been burned or countered. This is becoming a MEAN deck!
I use Akroma's Memorial in my green deck with the Primal Surge, as well. It is a beast! Haste, trample, first strike......AWESOME! Only time it screws me is when I play against my local nemesis and he has a damn Silklash Spider on the field. It keeps me from playing the memorial, due to the board wipe it offers when they all become flying creatures.
I appreciate every tip you give WDM! I'll take a look when I can break away from helping my kiddos with homework! These honors classes are harder on me than they are my kiddos! LOL
Thanks for the tips and the nice comments!
Is it OK to run the Phyto on the side?
Yeah, I like it too.Added!
It actually cost more, but I do like the fact its standard. The bombardment cost two initially, but only needs the sac to activate it. The expendables cost one, then another and the sac to activate it.
I don't know what to do! I started with just Giant growth and Titanic Growth, was swayed to the phyto because of the extra wallop, but truly think the cost and use of the Growth is better. I think I'm going with my original gut feeling on this one.
I like abundant growth over Ley of the land, but thats just my preference. I can see where you may want to use Ley of the land to thin the deck out some. I also, like spirit mantle over Brave the elements. It cost more, and isn't quite the same ability, but gives your creatures a permanent protection from theirs. I like using the spirit mantle + celestial mantle combo on a Guardian of the Gateless and can see where it would work nicely on Seraph of the Sword. Maybe even throw in Lifelink, too! I like arbor elf with the verdant haven, giving you the ability to untap that specific land that is enchanted. I like this deck, and honestly, suggestions would only be preference based. I'm not convinced they would even help improve the play any. Hell, I'm not even sure all the suggestions I made would be legal in standard!
