Wrath of God, Fireball

Very nice idea. I'm surprised I never thought of this. I would have the en-kor be the only white in the deck, saving the rest for cards like inferno and flame wave. Actually, a circle of protection: red or four might also be a good idea to keep the flames from getting to you.
I would start by getting my hands on 4 Hypnotic Specters and 4 Hymn to Tourach. You could even add blue to the deck and put in those creatures that tap to make players draw and then discard. That can be used to help you or to hurt your opponent. Definitely take advantage of black's versatility. It's a great color to play.
This deck seems unfocused and has cards that look like they were randomly thrown in. The way I try to make a deck is to figure out what I want to do and put as few cards, yet as many copies of that card as I can find up to 4, as I can into it. Pick the cards that do the job the cheapest and most effectively. If you want to make it a draw/discard deck, then come up with a combo and/or put in playsets of cards you know will do the job in a ratio of drawing and discarding that works for the deck
I played a game against my friend who was using this deck and me using my token sacrifice deck. I attacked him for several turns dealing over 400 damage each turn, and he still kept ending up with more life and not dying. I'm not worried about being overrun, but a kill card would be a good idea. Maybe an artifact since blue and white are not good at killing. Maybe something that somehow converts my life to mana or damage. I'll check to see if I have Courier Hawks. Thanks for the tips.
Oh, I have an idea. High Ground! It would make your soldiers twice as effective on defense.
When I was trying to come up with a way to make a strong white deck, I should have thought of soldiers. Ah well, I don't like playing tribal.
Ignore ddrman132. He is just jealous of your Ancestral Recall, as am I. Not everyone plays tournaments.
I don't think bost is a word. Maybe you should put in some wild growth and Llanowar Elves. They're good for quick and cheap mana.
Black is also my favorite because it is the most versatile color. I would suggest that you add some Dark Rituals.
I like Nekrataal. Many of the cards in this deck are the reason I like playing black.
Yeah, I know. I just play casually. No silly tournaments. I don't like being restricted except to the cards I am able to obtain.
Thanks. I need more doubling seasons.
I'm with Corilithon. Plus there are cards that make it so you can't counter things. Plus I just can't stand counter decks. It's better to do things than to stop your opponent from doing things.
You lose if your opponent does not use a deck that centers around creatures.
Beloved Chaplain is awesome.
