think twice was in the original main board as a 3 of. but the more i tweaked and played, 5 mana for 2 cards is pretty mediocre in this deck. with the dryad being out turn 2 or 3, i need to draw 2 cards cheaply. And for 1 blue to thought scour and 2 life for Gtaxian probe if so needed, are just better than Think Twice.
he gets side boarded out alot actually, hes just there for the shock factor most of the time.
Glad to see that BUG lich is on someone elses mind too. since youre using green check out Sylvok replica to take care of those o-rings, intangible virtues and any other artifacts. Heres my build i play rather often. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=319327
Here take a look at this. its got a couple FNM's under its belt http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=290289
This is how I'm running it. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299908
Took 2nd place last friday at my FNM with this version of Tempered Steel http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=290289
Drop the swords.. add a mox opal, ornithopters arent that useful, legionaires are susceptible to spells, origin spell bombs is awesome, try out either razorverge thickets with gavony township or seachrome coasts with moorland haunt, both are crazy good, and snag that fourth idol...
Glissa the Traitor fits your color scheme, curve, and can bring back your birthing pod if you need. good snyergy with this deck.
check out Into the maw of hell.. target stuffydoll with that and blow up a land
one word... fling
Maelstrom Pulse is almost a staple for Jund decks in the Alara block, and i absolutely love the card dont get me wrong. But the thing is with this deck If i were to put it in i would have to take something else out that would drastically affect how it would play against another deck i would have used it for. I want to keep Aggro decks at bay with this since it is the main contender at Modern Tournaments right now. The Kitchen Finks are my way of dealing with them and adding Maelstom Pulse would make me have to take them out which would change the play of the deck. Great suggestion BT Dubs!
i use trepanation blade with Blighted agent... dirt combo..
Solemn lets you pull a land when it comes into play. with Splinter twin you make a copy that lets you pull another land and tap to put another copy into play. then when they all die, they let you draw a card for each one made if you want so you dont have to draw yourself out if you dont want. the Exarch and twin combo is a control based combo. when the copy comes in it taps a permenant (lands especially) so it keeps all of them tapped out the whole game. by pulling your lands you can hit them for 20+ with a fireball or in this case a comet storm. its really limitless.
"gfdtujfr" is what i thought too...
i have no respect for infect decks that use 4 of each pump card... it just shows the unoriginality and no strategy that is needed to win. but while your at it, why not just add more pump cards like Vines of vastwood or gigantiform? ...
