Deck discussion for Sliver Swarm

Horrible Deck... produces way too much mana and not enough cards.

You dont' need the Moxes. They are just an $100 version of a basic land for your deck most of the time (Your not finding a way to abuse them. So yea... not needed >.>). Unless you have the Moxes, feel free to use them. If you don't have them, I suggest you don't spend like $500 dollars on expensive basic lands. Heartstone is not needed. You have way too much mana. Mana Flare helps your opponent usually more than it helps you. My vote is -1. Way too much comes into play tapped lands.

- All the Moxes
-2 Heartstone
-2 Mana Echoes
-2 Lotus Vale
-1 Vivd Crag
-1 Vivid Grove
-1 Vivid Creek
-1 Vivid Marsh
-1 Vivid Meadow
-1 Coat of Arms (Sliver Legion is your Coat of Arms, and its better)

-18 cards total

+1 Sliver Overlord (The best sliver period, you need this)
+1 Aluren
+4 Dormant Sliver (This is your engine, and it will rock)
+1 Copy of Each Basic Land
+1 Ancient Ziggurat
+2 Terramorphic Expanse

+2 Brood Sliver
+1 Fury Sliver
+1 Crystalline Sliver
+1 Heart Sliver
+1 Spined Sliver
+2 Patriarch's Bidding

+18 cards total

wow no black lotus? I don't think i can afford this deck. I do agree with chilly though with the land. Take a look at my sliver deck. If you are going to use Aluren you should put a recycle and Mana Severance in. Some dual lands and tri lands will probably be better then the Vivid.

@Chilly if you know where to get moxes for $100 let me know the cheapest that i saw them for was like $250 each :P

The the 5 moxes are proxies I play only with friends. know as for the all the excess mana production that is need for the production of 1/1 sliver tokens by the sliver queen. this is a casual deck I play with friends only cause most of the people i play with that aren't playing in type 2 tournaments they play with broken casual decks and this is my answer to what they have

Since you aren't going to be targetting any of your slivers you should add Crystalline Slivers. Also if you're playing with proxies you might as well play with original dual lands and some of the fetch lands. Aether Vial might be a good addition to sneak slivers into play.

By broken casual decks you mean decks that aren't really that great but fun to play for anyone? Or do you mean decks using all Power 9 and kill you in 1 or 2 turns like a "broken" deck.

If you want to go up against "broken decks" that 1 or 2 turn kill. I will recommend you ask the people not to play with those "broken decks" because it is not fun and totally not in the spirit of Magic to use them.

Well, Magic should be about having fun. Unless your playing in a tournament to win lol (Then it gets less fun... sadly. But I guess the friends you make and the cash prize and the experience makes up for it).

So if the people in your area are using "broken decks" that 1 turn or 2 turn kill. I suggest you urge them to not use those decks. And if nothing works, I guess that is just horrible :(.

Anyone can make a "broken deck" by searching them up on the internet and wasting $1000's of dollars on pointless cards.

But there are a few people in Magic who can just enjoy the game and have fun :)

They have normal decks but we do have fun playing each other with broken decks. It makes us think about how to beat them. As for using the power Im only using the 6 moxes. But I do have acces to sets of the power 9.

Sliver production? There isn't much at all. How about more variety of slivers and get rid of those moxes and some of those slivers. Verdict is -1

Ok only one thing to say about this deck. More slivers and less other things. A sliver deck needs more slivers then anything else. If your trying to produce slivers, then here are 2 necessary cards for you, Hunter Sliver, and Sliver Overlord. I have a sliver deck myself so if your interested check it out.

I strongly suggest using intruder alarm in your deck. As that card in combination with sliver queen (or any sliver really) and gemhide can let you put down your whole hand or even create a infinite amount of slivers. And I would know as that is one of the reasons my sliver deck is considered the most "broken" between everyone who plays my sliver deck.

Using Power 9 is fun o.O?

Wow? Really huh? If it is fun, by all means. Use it to the fullest!

I guess my expereince with using Power 9 wasn't so nice lol.... First turn Tolarian Academy + Moxes + Mind Over Matter = bye bye. Well, as long as you not overpower it so much, it sounds ok.
