Could use some sideboard advice.
Thanks! yes definitely considering this. what do you see me removing for thing? also, how many things do you think is 'right' ?
My competition version of this deck:http://www.mtgvault.com/zoson/decks/elven-bloom-2017/The less expensive version:http://www.mtgvault.com/zoson/decks/elven-blossom/
Growing Rites of Itlimoc is not as good as Lead the Stampede in this type of deck.Between llanowar elves, elvish mystic, heritage druid, and elvish archdruid you don't need the extra mana - you're better off with more creatures to go wide and be able to replenish your hand.
Pauper doesn't follow the regular ban/restricted lists. It has its own. https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Pauper_MagicThis deck is 100% pauper legal with no ambiguity. :)
There ya go.
Alright, revamped, what do you think?
I'm going to pass on surgical extraction, I see the value - and even the tie in with the art and the metallic looking spine/skull. I feel like the deck has card advantage issues and having a two-step removal from the game(unlike splinter which is amazing) gives up too much of my hand. I just don't have good ways to keep my hand populated.Do you have any suggestions for that particular problem? I'm also feeling like there is too much card diversity in the deck. What would you remove and what would you fully populate to 4 cards that I don't have at 4?
Thanks! Awesome suggestions dude.
@DedWards: Right I was saying that Zo-Zu is the 'new' Ankh, and it's just more expensive to cast.
Generally planning to play Eidolon off-curve. Kinda threw him in because i had him sitting around and figured I could just speed things up a little until I destroy enough lands to win with roiling terrain.I do like the Zo-Zu suggestion - The new, more expensive, Ankh of Mishra. I was wondering if it got replaced. Not really planning on adding other creatures though - it'd just be a swap for eidolon. I'd rather burn creatures to death instead. :D
Check out Baral, Chief of Compliance and Curious Homunculus. Thing in the Ice is also great for Guttersnipe decks.
Adding Liliana's requires diluting the deck far too much. The goal is to empty their hand and keep it empty. The only reason why I've got wheel effects at all are in order to maintain card advantage through Waste Not. 8 Rack does enough damage, just doesn't have enough surprises.
