Deck Description

IDEAS BEHIND DECK...

Main Combo: Godsire + Intruder Alarm (infinate 8/8 beasts)

The deck only has 4 permanent creatures (Godsire) , so I use 'Mystical Tutor', 'Entomb', 'Worldly Tutor' and 'Buried Alive' to find them, and 'Lightning Greaves' to protect them ( I don't want him to stop pumping out those 8/8 beasts!). 'Exhume' and 'Raise Dead'' are obviously to bring 'Godsire' back from the grave. Finally, 'Prismatic Omen' helps with multi-colours, and 'Pulse to the Tangle' is a re-usable creature generator.

Only legal in Vintage, Legacy and Casual Play.

Deck discussion for Godsire (No Zombies!!!!)

Unblockable equipment could be Whispersilk Cloak
Intruder Alarm would be horrendous.

You could try to intentionally discard Godsire and play him from your graveyard. Look through the mill decks for ideas on how to get him in the GY and check out some zombie decks for how to bring him out, there are a bunch of different combos, you shouldnt have trouble finding.

I've never had luck with a 5 color deck. Check out some other 5-color decks and see what they use for multi-color mana generation.

elvish piper, Quicksilver Amulet, Norwood Priestess, defense of the heart..any of these would be good for getting godsire into play. meyaht is totally right about the intruder alarm, it would give u infinite godsires, a scary concept

Blue's good for untapping stuff (eg: Freed from the Real) & green can dulicate token creatures (eg: Rhys the Redeemed). As for Maelstrom Archangel, she already has flying, but if you insist on making her unblockable something like Steel of the Godhead would be nice.

If you like you could add some Righteous Cause, gaining you 1 life each time a creature attacks, just for the extra WTF! effect of attacking with infinite creatures while gaining infinite life. Also protects you from any kind of lethal damage from a redirection.

If you wanted to put some black in here you could go Dragon Shadow. Fear, +1/+2, and if it is in the GY and you play a spell with CMCost of 6 or more (godsire) it comes right out onto that creature. Would increase your odds of becoming unblockable if you have trouble getting Steel of the Godhead into your hand.

For black look at Balthor the Defiled and Buried alive. That would allow you to get out 3 godsires with 2 cards.

Entomb would more of chance to get godsire into the graveyard. Also, maybe add Mystical Tutor to help find Exhume and/or Buried Alive

I think you should put Call to the Netherworld in there too, this paired with Exhume will make it easier to recall from your GY.

Just so you know dragon shadow gives the creature fear and +1 there is no added defense to the creature but still a good card to add to this kind of deck

Just so you know tokens dont go into the graveyard so you couldnt use balthor to bring them bacak

the cloak isnt really necessary. unblockable isnt that much of an issue, i would use Lightning Greaves instead

I think that a great card for this deck would definitely have to be Minion Reflector.... it would basically mean if by chance you don't have the Intruder Alarm (or even if) you could pump out an 8/8, and then get another 8/8 with haste to throw at them.... it would just be silly...

Doubling Season would be cool if you didnt have Intruder Alarm out. On second thought i think your deck is better as is. The whole community came alive to help on this one, and that's awesome.

Doubling Season was orginally in the deck, but then I saw 'Intruder Alarm'.... I am working on a similar deck legal for Extended... Doubling Season is legal, whereas 'Intruder Alarm' is banned.

I been thinking of putting 'Dragon Arch' into the deck, but not too sure what to drop?? Comments welcome by all... thank you.

Know what is fun with Godsire? Building a deck involving Skill Borrower and including Godsire in it. Just giving you some ideas. I got you email so I thought I would have a look. BTW, its not legal in Vintage or Legacy because you have to many Mystical Tutors. Its alright, you pry didnt know. Entomb is NOT restricted or Banned anymore though in any format.

Very nice deck the only thing I would suggest is adding primal rage into the mix for a quick kill.

Besides that here is a infinite damage combo that works with this deck:

Godsire + Intruder Alarm + Surge of Zeal + Breath of Fury (on a token) + Primal Rage = goodbye opponent.
