So a while ago, I found this deck called Dating Baiting. It was kind of a half-elf half-warrior type deck, and it used Giantbaiting with Bramblewood Paragon as its main kill condition. It was made a while ago, though, so I thought I would try to tune it up, and make it more competitive in modern. My deck building skills (or lack thereof) have failed me once again, and so I have resorted to asking the vault community for help (no replies, yet, he.) In the meantime, I wanted to make a kind of all-out Giantbaiting deck, that was totally warrior, and stuff that would revolve around Giantbaiting. My friend recommended Primal Forcemage, and I was like, yeah, I think I could work with that. But then I realized something: the best part of the Giant Paragon combo, was that it gave the giants trample. So if I were to make a deck around the Giant Forcemage combo, I would want something that gave trample as well. But that would be a three card combo, and I feel like I would never be able to get the full potential of Baiting in that deck. So I decided to give up on that for now. But before I gave up, I tried to find other things that might go well in my Giant Forcemage deck, and that was when I found Glitterfang. That seemed to work quite well, and when you combine it with Elemental Bond, you'll be drawing and playing tons of buffed up haste creatures. I had been wanting to make a Ball Lightning-type deck, but there was the problem of not having enough cards in hand to win. This deck seems to solve that for the most because of Elemental Bond, and Lightning Berserker/Glitterfang. I'm not sure if it will work, but it's quite fun. Comments are accepted, greatly appreciated, and openly begged for. What are your thoughts on Impact Tremors?
If they have no blockers, play Glitterfang. If they do, play something with trample or flying. If you can, always play your ramp first, as it will help later. If you have a Elemental bond or Primal Forcemage, definitely play those first. If you have them both, play the forcemage first. That's about it; it's a pretty simple deck.
