The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

So I thought that Bitter Ordeal was a really cool card, so I made a deck about it... but then I took out all the Bitter Ordeals and replaced them with Blood Artists, because I remembered that Blood Artist is better than any other card that has to do with stuff dying. This deck is a caual semi-budget deck that revolves around Blood Pet, Haakon, Ashes of the Fallen, and Blood Artist/Tendrils of Agony. Entomb and Buried alive help get Haakon in your graveyard, as well as Bloodpet. Miasmic Mummy gets Haakon out of your hand, and all the other one mana creatures, are meant to delay the game, and act as temporary Bloodpet substitutes. Insidious Dreams take out Blood Pet and Haakon from your hand, and get Ashes of the Fallen. It's a cool idea, but the ratio of the cards that I have is screwed up, and that's what I mainly need help with. If there are any other cards that work well with this deck, I would appreciate being informed of them, especially another substitute for Blood Artist, besides Tendrils of Agony.
Get Haakon into your graveyard with Miasmic Mummy, Insideous Dreams, Entomb, or Buried Alive. From there, as long as you have Ashes of the Fallen (acquired through Insideous Dreams) you can repeatedly play your creatures. To get a kill with Bloodpet, you will need Blood Artist, or Tendrils of Agony. Include whatever lands you want I only have Swamps.

I think this looks pretty good. I'm not sure what to recommend, save maybe cutting the miasmic mummies for a pair of extra entombs (could be wrong, though...). I really like the infi combo here, blood pet looks fun. However, are you sure there isn't anything you can do with the mana base? I mean, there have gotta be SOME lands that are better than swamps, somewhere, right?

Thanks for commenting. I agree that I should have more entombs, however, they are expensive, and I wanted to keep the deck semi-budget. In my last sentence of the How to Play section, I said that you can just add whatever lands you want. I usually only put basic lands in my deck, unless it's multicolored, which then I add some shock lands. If someone were to actually make this deck, they would just put in whatever lands they happen to have.
Nice Deck! I love Haakon. :)I would definitely recommend Phyrexian Tower. Other fun lands that involve saccing creatures include: High Market, Westvale Abbey, and Miren, the Moaning Well. Also Nameless Inversion's interaction with Haakon is too good to not include it in a Haakon deck. Because it is technically a 'Knight Instant' (thank you Changeling!) You may cast it over and over from your Graveyard when Haakon is in play. Endless creature removal which even gets rid of indestructible (bonus!).Here is my Haakon deck for comparison and inspiration: http://www.mtgvault.com/basilicanero/decks/shallow-grave/Enjoy your deck!Cheers!
Thanks for the comment. I'll check out those cards immediately.
