after another look at counterspell i realized why you suggested it and i did make the swap. at first i was thinking they were the same thing and the one was just a cheaper cost had to look up the MTG definition of spell just to make sure. as far as the land goes i do agree that it is later game mana set but early game fails so i did add 3 sol rings i had laying around think it will be enough?my main concern with this deck is it is huge i like to try and keep around 60 cards any ideas what would be good to cut? iv also thought for another win condition adding other plans-walkers any thoughts

all right so with what you suggested this is what iv changed the deck to http://www.mtgvault.com/zimzy/decks/go-kill-your-self-2/
i don't know how i didn't see the gyre sages. those will more then defiantly be in the deck before im done. i do agree there are better choices then the seek the horizon but they are what i currently have... frenzed tilling i do plan on dropping to a side bored due to i have ran across some pretty well put together mazes end decks at my local shop. im also thinking of just cutting blue out of the deck because its really only in there for the ludevic's test subject. witch wont be standard much longer anyways... any suggestions either way?
if you have any suggestions for how to improve this deck they are more then welcome. i am trying to keep this deck standard
i do have 4 Vizkopa Guild Mages in the mail for this deck and 3 more Exquisite Bloods as well. i will defiantly get some Smites to switch out for the Executioners Swings. i do fully plan on cutting the deck to 60. im defiantly going to cut the swamps down to at most 15 and more then likely take out some creatures. i just haven't gotten to play the deck enough to really see what creatures are truly worth keeping im leaning towards cutting all Syndic of Tithes, Tithe Drinker, and the Basilica Guards. and possible bumping the bloodhunter bat, and kingpin's pet up to 4 in the deck. so i can have all around blockers
