Elf deck with a twist: Once you get Omnath out start building up as much mana as you possibly can per turn, your mana pool should easily be able to reach 100+ 3 or 4 turns after he comes out. Your elves and Omnath should hold their own against most attackers until you draw Helix Pinnacle. As soon as you draw it, play it, and pump it 100, you win :) I filled the sideboard with cards to counter almost every deck i can think of. Asceticism/Canopy Cover for protection from creature burn and destruction, Dense Foliage can also be used, but is brutal vs. a pump deck, Leyline of Lifeforce in an opening hand can shut down almost any counter deck, and Spidersilk Armor vs flyers is a must. Chump block vs Infect decks, all you need to win is Vernal Bloom or Rofellos tapping for mana while Omnath is out. Added Eldrazi to the sideboard for an alternate win. Just put 4 Spawnsires in place of the 4 Helix Pinnacles and in about 5 or 6 turns on average to pull 23 Eldrazi off your sideboard and push an Annihilator 55, not exaggerating. Thats game I think.

I think it's fairly common to run pyroclasm or black sun against elves. What do you have to deal with them?

pyroclasm might be a concern in the first few turns of the game, but once the deck reaches turn 3, 9/10 times I have enough mana to play Dense Foliage or Asceticism to nullify it, and usually by the time another player can play black sun's zenith against the deck, the elves are strong enough for it not to be as detrimental to me as to the other player. In tournaments i play with Dense Foliage in the deck for the first game because it has the widest array of usage against other decks, but after seeing what type of deck my opponent is using, I can trade certain cards in or out for a higher win chance. Its a pretty versatile deck. I can even drop a few of the creatures and spells, put in an Eye of Ugin and a Spawnsire and turn it into a raging Eldrazi deck to bulldoze a life gain deck if needed, although i've never come up against a worthy one in tournament yet.
possibly use the well wisher elf? tap add life equal to the elves in play, it could keep you alive a bit longer for stalling.
I've never had a problem with health before, in the first games against good burn and flyer decks i will sometimes lose if I don't get the defensive cards I need, but its a pretty fast deck. 100 mana might seem like a lot, but I get Omnath out on turn 3 or 4 quite often, and that results in exponential mana growth to the point where after 3 turns i can channel 100+ mana into the Helix. I do sometimes have a problem getting the Helix out of the deck, i dont know of any cards that let me search my deck for an enchantment. If you know of any please let me know! Thanks for the input!
Let me correct my last message, I don't know of any GREEN card which lets me search my library for an enchantment, and I believe splashing blue into the deck just for that reason would throw off the whole balance.
You should really just use Emrakul, Ulamog, and Kozilek for Spawnsire. He does cast them so you win the "same" turn.
Theres no reason not to fill your sideboard chock full of Eldrazi when you can get them all out for the same amount of mana. There's always a chance that you get boned by some spell the other player has, and even if they nullify all your damage, they will still have to burn all their permanents from annihilator, which is basically a win in any situation. I know my sideboard is to big, its just to show all the options.
I like it dude. I need to get that elf legend in mine.
yeah aside from gaeas cradle its proabaly one of the fastest mana ramp cards i know of :)
man, just fill your sideboard with emrakuls. Even when they die to the legend rule, you get 15 extra turns. You should win.
oh sorry this comment was meant for another deck i think
all good, i never though of stacking tons of emrikuls, and although the thought if doing such a thing just to make your opponent shit their pants is endearing, it really isnt all that necessary, seeing as (as long as they dont have infinite flying tokens out) every card that they could possibly have out on the field would be completely and utterly demolished and then gifted to me (thanks). also, might want to read up on the legendary rule, im not sure its exact wording, but i think the second emrikul would destroy itself and the first one instantly, before the extra turn effect would take place.
