No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Based on Lordstrongpaw's deck, I added Woodfall Primus as another alternate win condition, and Herd Gnarr as an easy pump, as well as some useful enchantments:

Cream of the Crop, which essentially lets you cycle through your whole deck as many times as you want.

Impromptu Raid lets you pull out a persist creature for 3 mana and as long as Melira is out, there is no drawback to the effect.

Deck discussion for Infinite Persistence

It looks ok, but I would say it is slower than mine, similarly I will point out that once you have the ability to sacrifice your creatures for mill or damage there is no point to the primus's ability since you will mill or damage them infinitely anyhow. Same with herd gnarr, what good is an infinite/infinite if you have already won the game. Dryad Arbor is a slow land that doesn't help you out much, I know evolving wilds and the expanse are also technically slow land but they held solve an issue with dead draws. Your cheapest persister is 3 mana and you only have three, meaning 1/20 draw chance or you have to use a gsz to get it in which case it costs 4, although you do have the mana ramp for that, all in all I'd say this deck is pretty good and maybe better than mine in some circumstances. (If they somehow manage to get a platinum angel with all sorts of prot and indestructibility then the primus will be handy...) but overall I'm gonna have to say it looks too slow to be truly spectacular and leave your opponent going "What in the blue blazes just happened..."

A good deck though and probably still good enough to win in large politics based games. you might have some problems with speedy dual decks though.

I dont understand why you would say that dryad arbor is a slow land, it states that it doesnt suffer from summoning sickness, essentially its a llanowar elves for 0 mana with haste. I added the primus because I play my friends quite often with my mill deck, and they have learned to sideboard in a legendary eldrazi to avoid mill, this shuts down Altar of Dementia completely, personally, i carry around a bunch of random cards in my sideboards to put in just to nullify certain decks: an eldrazi against mill, Melira against infect, leyline of lifeforce vs counter... you will most likely win the first game with a fast infinite, but if the other player is prepared, you need to have various alternate win conditions to finish the job :)

The following use of caps is to draw attention to the words capitalized and not to indicate shouting.

'Dryad Arbor isn't a spell, IT'S AFFECTED BY SUMMONING SICKNESS, and it has "{T}: Add {G} to your mana pool."' = Dryad arbor is a slow land.

I see why you included the primus, I even said there are occasions when it will be useful to have, I personally would not choose to run it is all at least not main-board.

Hi here. Just saw your deck and figured I would comment on it. I have a similar deck that I put a lot of work into. I actually think you will have a faster deck if you splash black and slim down your mana curve. That way you can run creatures like Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder for cheap ways to sac creatures.

Either way Its a nice build and I hope it has been fun to play.

Here is a link to my deck if you would like to take a look.

awesome! im not actually amazed at the decks performance actually, its an amazing concept and its really fun to play when it works, but since i play mostly legacy ive found that its just a bit too slow, im sure there are lots of ways to make this deck better, i just dont play it often enough to put more money toward it. love the idea though! thanks!
