hellkites should be mainboard and instead of the suns you should use chalices also you can add a few one ofs of 6 drop artifacts to kind of get any given card for a situation with treasure mage like i would run argentum armor for valakut and just cuz its good and the thopter foundry gives you a bunch of flying chump blockers both 6 so searchable with the mage

i dont need tome scour because the archive traps are better, there are alot of fetchs played and also i can get that much mana because i have enough removal to keep the board clear

yea ty it was too much removal vs mill i took out the go for throat and put them in sideboard in favor of archivist

theres no way i can drop an architect they are the whole point and when i ran this at the ptq i didnt really need counter spells all that much, for the first 4 turns at least i should be tapped out so they would not help because it goes 1st turn bear 2nd turn lord 3rd turn architecht and tgap all to drop a wurmcoil and the bear does 3 dmg turn 2

i was just at a ptq and i dont think this can compete with tempered steel or red black vamps for the aggro crown

or you could add fireslingers for the direct damage without the discard

i would run alot less counter spells because it wont stop them from killing your illusions because as soon as they are targeted they die whether the spell is countered or not and why would you ever run only 2 images and 2 bears man 4 of each they are both broken

my deck is actually a kind of altered version of the same idea you have, but less control stuff like mana leak and more beatdown if you want to check it out

oh btw anyone looking at this the vapor snag and flashfreeze are not supposed to be in it that is a mistake

yes i have it has been working against a vensir PTQ deck and your right the contagion engine is just there for a board sweep type card and the battlesphere is in there because it was a big artifact i already had if i can trade for more wurmcoils they will go in instead and the contagion will definatly go sideboard, if you can think of any other 6 or 7 drop bombs i can put in instead please let me know

take out memnites and the negates add 4 phantasmal images and 4 lord of the unreal

not bad but i really dont like stall decks and this just seems to stall until u win with helix which is kinda gay your oly bomb is the locus and you only run two, and with just elves mass removal will mess u up
