I feel this would be a great 2HG deck, as it may be a tad slow for normal 1V1 games, but still fun in casual.
This deck has protection, recovery, life gain and destruction. It's exalted which is fun. Play the elf's to get your mana out asap. Joiner Adept will make your lands tap for any color, so as long as you got one out, you just need any mana at that point.Glitspire is awesome, as he is exalted, and he can destroy something that did damage to you this turn. Not the greatest at first, but it makes the player think, is it worth it to lose the creature?Try to have Rafiq of the Many out on the field with a General's Kabuto. It will make him indestructible, making his ability extremely effective. He gives exalted, and double strike if they attack alone. This will be great if you are swinging with the Hydra.Armadillo Cloak and Finest Hour are for your swinging creatures. Toss a cloak on the hydra so it can not die if it lost it's counters. It'l get +2+2 , trample and life link right away, making it stupid. Plugged with the Finest Hour and Rafiq, it is just insane, making it have double strike, two combat phases, exalted and life link. Then it double's next upkeep, making this even better.Regrowth is for your key cards, like the Hydra and anything else that got destroyed or discarded. It bring's the card back to your hand for only two mana, as long as you have a Joiner, mana color should not be a problem at this point to cast whatever it may be. The Elixir is my favorite card just because for 3, you can shuffle your graveyard in and gain five life. Its simple and worth a spot in almost every deck.
