A slowplay deck with control to get your devotion on the field and win. This is my current favorite deck. I tend to win most of the time unless I get a complete crap hand.
Use control cards early so you can build your devotion on the field. Use Voyage's End and Dissolve early to scry and use your Diabolic Tutors on your Abhorrent Overlord or Gray Merchants. When you have Rescue from the Underworld in your hand, have Abhorrent Overlord kill himself and bring him and a Gray Merchant return to the field with Rescue from the Underworld. You will have plenty of 1/1 flyers to win the game with the drain lowering their health. You must also never let a devotion leave the field until you get all your cards on the table. If you are facing a deck with mostly/all black creatures then swap the sideboard for Doom Blades.

there are a couple cards that would make this a bit better, if you don't mind a little expense. nightveil specter is definitely one, along with mogis marauder. another temple couldn't hurt as mana fixing is always nice. also, take out the sea gods' revenge, its, waaaaaaay too expensive for your mana curve. also, add 4 desecration demon in place of 2 dissolve and 2 diabolic tutor. this deck is not about counter spells, its devotion. definitely move 2 ashiok to mainboard, and add a copy of erebos. other than that, great deck. also, drop a copy of abhorrent overlord. you dont want too many 7 drops in a deck like this.
