The star player: Shadowborn Apostle. These babies are the driving force of the entire deck. You can get out huge creatures within a very small timeframe. The quantity of 22 is important so you can get 2+ of these beauties out per turn in the early game. You want to get Griselbrand out first so you can have the biggest creature with a constant flow of cards into your hand.Xathrid Necromancer makes sacrificing your Shadowborn Apostle even more beneficial than getting a monster of a creature out. Now you have a powerhouse and 6 2/2 zombies on the field very early game.Immortal Servitude makes it simple and quick to reuse your Shadowborn Apostle . They all come back to the field usually ready to hop their happy little asses back into the graveyard.Reaper from the Abyss is an amazing kill card for controlling the battlefield. Something is dying nearly every turn with this deck so it is constantly being used. Automatic kills on your opponent or at worst, one of your own Shadowborn Apostles, but you get a 2/2 zombie for it anyways. Pure beauty.Shadowborn Demon is in here for a strictly instant kill card if your opponent has something out that is threatening you.Lord of the Void allows for great damage that gets you even more creatures. Imagine stealing an Aurelia, the Warleader for two combat phases... Game over.And Desecration Demon is great to draw early game to be able to play straight from your mana if you get unlucky with the draw.
