Hi, everyone. I'm looking for some feedback about my mono-green infect deck. I've looked at quite a few different variants of B/U/G Infect and played a great deal with U/G Infect myself. I have found that the mono-green build is much kinder in terms of mulligans and provides a much higher consistency in terms of kill speed.
Firstly, one should notice that this deck contains 64 cards. I had previously been playing only twelve creatures (including the 4x Inkmoth Nexus), but I was told that I should add four more to make the deck more consistent. Personally, I think 12 creatures provides a good chance of drawing a creature in my opening hand or off of a mulligan to 6. One creature is usually enough, as the deck currently plays 10 cards that protect my creatures. I am weighing the advantages of adding a 2 mana creature in Ichorclaw Myr, and was wondering what to remove to bring the deck down to size.Secondly, I am wondering if there are any pump spells that I may have missed that would work well in my deck (no, Invigorate is not Modern legal). I wanted to play as many +4/+4 pump spells as possible, as a couple of those plus an exalted trigger is exactly enough for a kill. Any additional useful pump spells would be great. Titanic Growth was a 4 of in the deck until very recently, and I am debating playing that as well. Thirdly, what is this deck missing? Is there any important aspect that this deck is missing or lacking in? Is my deck resilient enough against control to be able to put all my eggs into one basket?
