Deck Description

Unfortunately a bit luck based, but it can even get going late game. Ideally it works like this:

Turn one: Forest, Birds of Paradise
Turn two: Island, Cephalid Constable
Turn three: Favor of the Overbeing the Constable, bounce their lands, laugh your ass off as you win or get owned by a shock.

Deck discussion for Blue Green Bounce

i assume this is type 2 legal. otherwise i'd reccomend adding forgotten ancient, for the oodles of +1/+1 counters.

needs a bit of draw, to pull out the specific cards, or more creatures to last longer. this deck is too reliant on a very specific top deck. simply add more cards with similar synergy.

I figure the counters and boomerangs allow me to stall for a decent bit of time to get the combo out and running. I'm thinking of swapping Vedalken AEthermages into the main deck from the sideboard, but I can't figure out what to replace them with.

dont put the cold eye selkie or the other thing that says when it deals combat damage to a player that player has to bounce that many permanets cause its 3mana for 1/1 and you could play something bigger and better

I think you should try running 4x mirrorweave, as well as 4x puresight merrow, 4x steel of the godhead, and 4x banishing knack. The steel / merrow combo gives you a 4/4 lifelinker who provides card advantage, and can bounce your opponents' field with banishing knack. If you can, run 4 copies of ponder too. Hope that helps!

Btw, drop your instant spells for my suggestions if possible. Counterspells dont fit so well in an aggro-esque deck. And my suggestions are mostly for stuff I use in my merfolk deck. You should check out some of my decks, and give feedback on what u think.

The counters are in there because I have to be able to stall if I don't get my ideal draw, enabling me to stonewood invocation a constable later and bounce half their board. I like the idea of running mirrorweaves, though. I'll see where I can work it in. I'm really looking at working the AEthermages in, I figure they're useful in case I don't get my draw, and they can bounce Changeling Colossus as well.

i think u should run 4 steel of the godhead to attach to Cephalid Constable to make her a 2/2 unblockable bouncing 2 permanets a turn if u get the combo turn 4 u keep bouncing lands and dealing 2 damage to win

I think I'm going to sideboard steel of the godhead. As much as I like the unblockable bouncing 2/2, I think 3 mana for it is more than this deck can afford to pay in many circumstances. I'll definitely swap it in against decks that can handle flying, though. Bastard chumpers from bitterblossom.

scratch the Favor of the Overbeing and add in Counterspells.

I'm not entirely sure that you quite get the idea of the deck. The constable or the selkie has to get avoidance somehow, and with only 4 wings of velis vel I can't count on those. With 4 wings and 4 favors I have a much higher chance of getting 1 of the two in my hand, 65%. I have negates and rune snags for counters as well.
