I would like to say that I generally make budget decks around a common theme, or even more likely, a single card. These decks are generally made just for casual play. This time, I wanted to make a deck about lands! So Natural Emergence was the card I based this deck around. The point of this deck is to get a bunch of lands out, turn them into 2/2 creatures and beat down your opponent with it!
In order to win, or do anything really, you need Natural Emergence. Sterling Grove will tutor for it if needed. Sakura-Tribe Scout and Skyshroud Ranger are the turn 1 drops that allow you to put more lands into play. Fertile ground is an enchantment that helps get the mana base fixed and is a good target for the bounce from Natural Emergence. Once you get Natural Emergence out (and hopefully Terra Eternal for the Indestructable) you just beat down with your lands or play buffing enchantments.The reason for Aggravated Assault in the deck is to keep 5 mana untapped, swing with the rest of your lands, pay the 5 mana for Aggravated Assault, and repeat infinitely. Its a way to swing until you finally beat down the opponent!Earth surge is there to help make sure your lands don't die if you don't find the Terra Eternals and Collective Voyage/Rites of Flourishing help with playing more lands.
