I agree playing budget does not mean wipe your as with cardboard, which is what some of those lists are

I would like to cast my vote for Hero of Bladehold or Brimaz over Elspeth.
Zealous persecution should mainboard over Eidolon. Because Persecution saves you from splinter twin and can be a really good finisher, that little extra bit of damage to win you the game.
+1 from me though.

thanks couch. i totally see the reasoning for zealous over eidolon, but why hero or brimaz over elspeth? i would lean towards brimaz of those two, just harder to get rid of, but elspeths two +1 effects seem to make her very multi-use
