I mean when I hear "Modern" I am just assuming its made for competitive play, because modern is an official competitive format. ive seen 75$-$150 decks make top 8 and crush tournaments. look at mono-U delver or soul sisters. even burn to an extent. I love budget modern, and ill brainstorm winning modern decks on the cheap with ya if you want. let me know!

good job being half right asshole. deceiver is played in higher numbers than pestermite because of his 4 toughness. guarantee it. you got the blue part right, but your "may god bless ur'e souls" and "please educate youselves" comments are pretty fucking annoying. give constructive comments or don't comment. ive literally never seen you post anything constructive
What about wear//tear? Does double duty
I love the surprise aspect, but I think as soon as your opponent sees midnight guard they will know whats up
hangarback seems solid, that would be a cool addition
how do you feel about running seismic assault? it cost more up front but is more effective in the long run
thanks for the sb tech! does make more sense now. I think you have enough control to make the games longer and find SB cards when you need to. very happy to see competitive decks on the vault, especially original ones
seeing really good synergy between jace ORI and lily of the veil. just a thought
lets you cheat out the fatties, I think youd have fun casting it!
more like turn1-3... this is almost modern legal, switch enlightened tutur for idyllic tutor
welcome Munchkin!! good comment. I think running dictate as a 4-of is good if you want to run 1 nykthos and one thassa, gives you an alternate win con. I think running 4 time warp, 4 walk the aeons, and 4 temporal mastery is a solid core, with 2 elixor to simply shuffle them back in over and over
I think you have something here! I want the sideboard a bit more focused, like 3 sundering growth, 2 timely reenforcements, 1 pithing needle, 2 relic of progenitus, 2 duress, 2 kitchen finks, 1 engineered explosive, 1 stony silence. I think that's what I'd be running with the meta im projecting, but I wasn't sure the reasoning for your SB choices. id be set up to beat burn, combo, affinity, boggles, and juund
you got it man! give it a shot, tell me how the playtesting goes
I think if we use the tags "modern", "standard", or "legacy" it should just be assumed competitive. those formats are built for competitive play
solid deck, your card choices are spot on. any tournament results?
cool build, its the craziest junkiest version of ascendency I have seen yet, and I want to build it and try it out. its weird to have no mana dorks and really no cantrips to me thouugh
Combo deck! I like that you have staying power past the midcrank/duskmantle, seems good
I'm just not sure about this deck at all. It's tagged as Modern, and yes the cards may all be modern legal, but how competitive is it? I think it is lacking the staying board prescence, a way to beat through counterspells, and an answer to twin/burn
rites of flourishing seems functional here also
how to you feel about the origins jace here? lets you filter your cards, and fills the graveyard for delve
