Lightning bolts are non standard, you could use mugging instead? It also makes the targeted creature unable to block that turn if it's still alive, very helpful for the "turn sideways" strategy. :P

I am actually running this as a modern build, but thanks for the advice. I'll see if I have any hanging around.

Oh, I didn't see that, most of the deck is standard, and I think it would fare much better in that meta. if you replaced the raging goblins with maybe legion loyalist, and the sky hunters with a couple of boros charms, you will have a pretty consistent standard boros deck.

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't have that many loyalists or charms. =/ Maybe I will happen up on one.

They were pretty cheap last time I checked, someone you know should have some spare, as they are pretty common. I'd you we're to buy them, it wouldn't put the total cost of the deck much over the $20, and if you took out the cost of the lands, you'd be spot on. c:

I think it's in the side until he gets his hands on some to make the deck standard legal.

I bought a playtest for $8 when gate crash was released, right before I stopped playing, until last week, looked him up, and well, so glad I bought him then. :D

Speaking of expensive, you should take a look at my newest modern brew, I want to make the deck a kind of collective effort. Should have your say. c:
