yeah i see your strategy now...I originally went with the whole zombie/mill thing but i really think it is ineffective as for defense while you are milling. With the zombies they take up more deck space you rely heavily on the death baron.

I kind-of adopted your strategy without knowing it when i reworked my deck. I took out all the creatures and put in more control. Except I went with weakening them ass opposed to countering.

Check it out again if you want see... Comments are always nice too :)

Im thinkin' a few things. I think you need more creatures, even with counter spells. In my opinion, countering and mill don't work well together. If you have to save land every turn to counter something, then it will take you longer and longer to mill. And you eventually run out of counter spells and thus be open for attack. (i'm not really counting nemesis for defense just because it costs 5 to get out)
countering with little spells like tome scour works okay.

When i made my blue/black deck i found myself clogged with spells that cost all 3 to play or more. traumatize is a good card, but i don't think it is worth the mana to play. the Cheaper and faster the better. like tome scour and twin cast would be great.

As for the sideboard relic of pro.....dont need it.
doom blade....if you are going with the counter spell thing which i think you could drop then you don't need them.
infest....if you keep the same creatures then go for it!
Thoughtseize........would be too much think....

Check out my try at this deck.

Brilliant. You just really have to hope that your opponent doesn't have thought Hemerrage. But, since you will have have threshold every game, you might want Cabal Ritual instead. Just a thought.

Dude. Two thumbs up! I have always thought giants have a lot of potential.... and now it is realized...
i do think that you could lose the Moonhold and the waves though. For 3 i dont think moonhold is worth it, and with 6 plains they might be able to play creature spells. And geez! waves! as if double strike on like a 10/10 or more with trample isn't enough! maybe 1 or 2 battle mastery instead. GREAT DECK :) check out my tourny deck if you want.....tapkill...... would be a interesting fight. :P

This needs a lot of work. First of all, you need more and better tap. I like Vectis Dominator but his ability just doesn't cut it. It cost 3 to play and they can just choose to take the 2 instead, so when you really need it, it might let you down. Blinding Mage is a good alternative. Coming from experience, 4 Deathbringer Liege is suicide. by the time you get enough land to play it, it will be the last card in your hand so it's ability wont be very effective. And i think path is a better card for this deck than unmake. The cheaper to play the better. i wanted to go black white with my tapkill deck but it just doesn't work. And for sure, 19 will now cut it. Take a look at my attempt at this theme, deck name=== tapkill
Hope i could help, and sorry if i was harsh. :)

I just made a deck like this but it is standard. I like the theme and yeah it wouldn't do well against a goblin deck or something like that. my deck has a little less bite large creature wise, and uses thousand year elixirs to maximize what royal assassin can do in one turn. check out mine "tapkill"

Behemoth Sledge, Mage Slayer and Quietus Spike are really over powered and i like them a lot, but they really slow a deck down. I don't think this deck does all 5 colors justice. I think that since it is all 5 colors it should be ready to counter almost anything you can throw at it. This deck can use alot of improvement and needs it. idk.... check out my attempt at all 5.... called "Conflux"

wow. this is a pretty good combo you have going here... but you called it. I think it is kind of vulnerable, only having one win condition. It can be taken out pretty easily with a terminate or something, even with counter spells. A more broad win condition IS ideal but for this deck this combo is good. you might want to fill up those last few spots too... :p
