Deck Description

Well, slumbering dragons are overlooked quite a bit. so I wanted to make a deck that evolves around them.

How to Play

turn 1 slumbering dragon would hopefully deter the opponent from attacking with early aggro creatures.

then when the time is right, chemister's trick + downsize combo (if it's needed)

not to mention slumbering dragon + spell rupture is pretty nice :P

then stall stall, then BOOOM!

Deck discussion for don't let sleeping dragons lie

Hahaha aww man this deck is wicked! I love Slumbering Dragon so much, it's up in the leagues with Vexing Devil! I like the idea of using Slumbering Dragon for late game when Izzet usually lacks in strong creatures. Good deck

I would think about adding white as well for dramatic rescue; it bounces your creature after they attack, adding a counter to your dragon, gives you life agaisn't aggro, and you set them back. Either that, or add to more cyclonic rifts. If you can comment on my deck, i would appreciate it. http://www.mtgvault.com/dobledanger/decks/relentless-force/

unfortunately slumbering dragon only gets a counter when opponent's creatures attack me. so dramatic rescue wouldn't help to much. cyclonic rift is good, but it's a bit too expensive for the overload cost.
but thank you for your comment

you cast the spell after they declare an attack. That way it you get the counter and maintain their field, making it harder for them to race you.
