Deck Description

Black, Blue, Green control deck with emphasis on milling, and deathrite shaman.
get rid of cards through psychic strike, or paranoid delusions on invisible stalker.
then deathrite the other guy to death,
I didn't add white for sphinx's revelation, but instead added bane alley for it.

Deck discussion for BUG control

Cool stuff going on here! I was half expecting to see Shadow Slice in here.

Also, I would have loved to see you take advantage of the BUG name with some actual bug type creatures. But this is still cool... I gueeeesss...

Thanks for suggestion. I also contemplated putting shadow slice in here... but my more immediate concern was more control than quick kill. I had a different version of this deck where i had "Jarad's orders" and 4 augur of bolas so i could search for invisible stalker. but that deck was weak against aggro... so I decided to add in more control aspect in the deck.

and i wish there were bug type creatures in standard that fit this deck... but oh well XD

ah-ha, that makes sense. By the way, this is my first time seeing Bane alley Broker, great card!
I'm going to thumb through your other decks if you have any. You've got some cool ideas.

I work in Modern primarily. So maybe I'll go ahead and use this as inspiration to make a BUG/Insect deck. I'll keep in touch and let you know how it goes! haha

I''m on the fence about paranoid delusions since your deck isn't a mill deck. I would put in either abrupt decay, ultimate price, or dimir charm to help with early control. I would also think about switching vraska for either garruk, curse of the veil or primal hunter, Vrasks doesn't do much, and the 1/1's are easy to deal with whereas consistently pumping either 2/2, 1/1 deathtouch, or 3/3 tokens every turn can help sustain and give you a more reliable win con. Hope this helps you

thank you for your suggestion, and you are right, just putting in garruk would be better... I had vraska in there to deal with heavy mana enchantments, but i can just add gaze of granite now for the effect. much better removal altogether anyway. but paranoid delusion is nice because coupled with invisible stalkers and deathrites, they give me source of dmg or life gain and sometimes mana.
